If Seattle weather continues to be warmer than historic averages, I suspect T-Mobile keeps moving up the list and the team will want more ground ball pitchers in the rotation.

I mostly agree with the @castroturf.bsky.social lineup analysis, but @mariners.com home field, T-Mobile Park is no longer a ballpark “where flyballs go to die.” www.mlb.com/news/ranking...
Murray should choose baseball while he’s still in his twenties.
Let’s hope he doesn’t mimic the dugout tantrums.
The Paramount offer for WB seems like a classic case of turning a large fortune into a smaller fortune.
I had a steak for dinner tonight. The restaurant made a point of saying the sides were part of the “blue zone” diet. I looked up what that is and it’s apparently a mostly plant-based diet. Maybe the steak works too if you order it “blue” aka rare.
Getting Gemini Pro as part of the $14/month I pay for Google Workspace is pretty fantastic. Might be worth more to me than the entire GSuite.

Thanks to @dvr.bsky.social @enosarris.bsky.social @daveadler01.bsky.social @jasoncollette.bsky.social @derekcarty.bsky.social for a fun panel discussion on players they love at #SABR Analytics conference.
Watching the Baseball Savant presentation this morning at SABR Analytics conference, I’m left wondering why they are tracking ABS calls against batters. Totally out of their control whether a called ball is actually a strike.
Today I learned that Cal Raleigh wasn’t the first MLB player with a posterior themed nickname. Before he was the Iron Horse, Lou Gehrig was known as “Biscuit Pants” for similar reasons.
Josh Naylor waiting on deck during a spring training game sporting sky blue shoes with clouds.
Naylor should steal 50 bags with these new shoes. Literally running in the clouds.
Definitely hard to run on your thumb.
Typical Tuesday
I hope it was unanimous. It was a marginal deal at the original bid and a bad deal at the current Paramount offer.
State of the union: will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
There was a time in the United States where you could disagree and feel like no one was trying to burn the world down.
If the Niners can still be from San Francisco, the Bears can still be from Chicago in any of the Indiana locations selected. Levi’s Stadium is 40 miles from San Francisco. The Bears will be closer to Chicago.
Maybe this won’t work, but they might have had a shot at the Oakland A’s if they moved faster.
Not electing Bill Belichick makes as much sense as not electing Barry Bonds to the Baseball Hall of Fame. www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...

Who is buying these Super Bowl tickets?
How do you get a hotel in NYC for $200?
If you look at which states have data and which states don’t and then factor in all the players that aren’t US citizens, this is a pretty weak analysis.
I miss a good pork tenderloin sandwich. Almost impossible to find on the west coast.
@mariners.com fan patiently rooting for that first World Series.

You mean just like Lambeau, Highmark (Bills), Acrisure (Steelers), and every other open stadium in places with cold ass winter?
