So my monitor being broken using desktop PC is not an option so my wife has let me play on her laptop... How much better games run on it really puts in perspective how outdated my desktop is 😅

I guess I have now time to start creating some kind of content or for writing a book or something. Now I just need to figure out what I want to do and about what. 😅 I am also trying to find a job, but honestly job prospects look grim on both my individual level and on the level of the whole country.

I didn't get a 2nd advisor for my PhD in time (she enthusiastically confirmed today) so I missed the application period. Next one is in fall, but I am a bit disappointed and feeling uncertain about what comes next. However, I did a baking today (I'm no use in kitchen 😅) and did a good workout too! 🙌🏻

Five hours of sleep. Two mugs of coffee in the morning just for comfort. Mix of dread and relief. Oh yeah, it's moving day.

It's been a tiring week. Preparing for next week's move, being cut off benefits for this month, doing PhD application and on the top of it also now I have a broken PC monitor. I can't wait for all this to be done because I sure don't know what else to expect before it's over😩

There's so much stuff preoccupying my mind I haven't really internalized the fact I'm moving next week. It's so close! Fortunately it's just within the city but it's still a big change 😅

I wonder if they were just misunderstanding the effect some parasites have. Like eating something unhygienic can make you itchy back there and they thought a bug crawled up there an external route rather than taking the fun indoors way.

I find myself rather overwhelmed. Not in the sense of the walls falling on me or being crushed by the weight of the world. I have had very powerful moments with many video games, but not very often have I cried because one. Though FFXIV then made me cry multiple times, so I guess that balances it a bit.

For real! I have no idea what happened. Even the variety of music in BG3 felt lacking in comparison and it just wasn't nearly as memorable as DOS2.

I'm astounded by how good soundtrack this game has and how much a disappointment BG3 soundtrack was.

Agreed. I'm just about to turn 30 and even I remember when writing in first person was passé. Even if it was actually the most definitive, seismic shift in literary trends I'm still certain the tides would turn in just about the same time as always.
