+1 I thought KS was boringly competent, and had centre left beliefs whilst demonstrating a bit of political ruthlessness on occasion when absolutely necessary. Turns out he isn't competent, is an absolute pushover in the face of Reform and is only ruthless when his personal position is threatened.

surely no army in military history has ever been laid low by disease, a famously uncommon problem among people living in enforced close quarters

Thing is, Home Secretary, if you tell people like me to fuck right off, who supported the Labour Party precisely because it has historically been an anti-racist party (amongst other principles you have also jettisoned), we might just do that. And I don't think Labour can afford to lose our votes.

Snap. At present, feels like many of us are forced to vote against our least preferred option. And our UK electoral system makes that hard so we have to guess what is the best way to achieve this. I’d like to think that a better voting system would encourage parties to make a positive pitch

NEW: Richard Tice failed to pay almost £100,000 in corporation tax, benefiting his investment company which made large donations to Reform UK.

First time Reform's deputy leader's tax affairs can be directly linked to finances of Nigel Farage's party.

When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.

Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform

google Maps as I wasn’t quick enough on the draw with my camera.

In case you’re confused - the £100k of tax Richard Tice failed to pay here is totally different to the
- £92k of tax not properly withheld on dividends
- the £600k side-stepped via highly aggressive tax avoidance

What’s tough about following the advice of the obviously decent person over the actions of the obviously, criminal, untruthful, war mongering, mad man.

Those who find that one difficult are neither truly Christian NOR Catholic

Weird just contemplating what the AI prompt would be to generate this image! At no point does whoever is responsible consider this is bizarre & deluded? Seeing the prompt written out would be fascinating

People will be closely studying how Hungary's opposition pulled off their win in such a pro-incumbent system. Important to note that the theme was corruption. Democrats need to get much better at calling out Trump's corruption.

So now we go back to bombing them until they agree to the deal Obama had that Trump tore up… and open up the strait that was open before we attacked them?

Continuing a war we “already won”?

Do we have that right?

Also, in hospitals Rose Cottage is often a euphemism for the mortuary. “Mrs Smith has moved to Rose Cottage”

Has Trump reverted to his true warmongering self now he realises that he’s not going to win a Nobel Peace Prize so can stop pretending to be a “peace maker”?

In fact Ms Leavitt the world is simultaneously laughing a loud and hollow laugh... and holding its head in its hands.

The United States has never looked so stupid and played and ridiculous and dangerously unhinged and it's all down to one man.

Whatever happens, this is a deeply shameful episode in American history that will leave a permanent stain on the country.

Repeatedly vowing to commit war crimes against millions of innocent civilians is beyond the pale.
