Yesss when you sign in to opensocial.community and join a community, if you have standard.site content you can share it with your community! The aggregator at atmosphere.community is pulling together all content from each member of each ATProto community that has been shared π
For sure, I think there are likely folks working on profitability and there's definitely some work happening on permissions spaces and trying to make privacy happen!

That's perfect, thank you! Great idea!!
Thank you! Fixing it now π it took a hot second to get DNS fully set up.
If you run a local #atproto community and it isn't listed on atmosphere.community, you should let us know!
Also you can now share any standard.site content you write about atproto with your local community through opensocial.community and it will show up on this site! π
It was SO FUN chatting with Sterling today!! Lots of talk about AI agents and being a builder coming soon from @overcommitted.dev π
That said, time is hard π₯² I also have to ruthlessly prioritize whatever is the most important thing to work on, and am often multi-tasking quite a bit.
My kids are 5, 2, and 2, which probably helps with the 7:30 bedtime. I also do a lot of tinkering with things while they're up hanging out before bedtime. Lately they've been playing together most nights before bedtime, which has given me some time to read/work on a passion project.
Heya, what's the community site we are trying to create? is it atmosphere.community?
And then the dev site will be atprotocol.dev? Getting my astro rockets out now π
Yeah! I just spoke at Atmosphereconf recently and am prepping for my next few π doing some demos for Google Cloud Next next week and then a talk at CascadiaJS in June!
It's like a weird adrenaline thing. What if I fail? What if I say something dumb and get cancelled on the Internet? π
For sure, it's easy enough to change things to work the way that I want them to, despite knowing basically nothing about Electron π
I think I enjoy public speaking for the same reason some people enjoy doing things like sky diving.
Incredible, this looks fascinating! Where is it selling?
Ooh awesome! π Glad it's a good hook!
It really is π I use it daily (and even have a mobile app now)
π I love it all.
Hey look, it's my face on the @github.com blog! Thanks @cassidoo.co for putting this together π
Here's a blog post and YouTube video sharing my β¨ AI Command Center β¨, because I personally cannot live in a CLI all day π

This is very soothing π
Idk when I think of the official soundtrack of the Atmosphere this is what I think of

I have one of those. He's not green but he is huge.
I think that glue work, the work that is needed to get a project done and help a team run smoothly but isn't typically rewarded, might be the most important skill in the age of AI. And it looks like @sarahoconnorft.ft.com agrees π

I think that this does in fact scale π or at least it could.
This was such a great conversation with Bri Goldfarb! She has a lovely and inspirational story about succeeding in tech after a non-traditional career path and chronic illness. She also teaches on @frontendmasters.com , too! π
Um, now. This is amazing.
0 chance I'm sharing this with my kids though π
This is also my favorite one π
We are STILL listening to Kpop Demon Hunters every day on the way to school. And I'm still into it.
