Absolutely! I know how silence feels 😂.
Nice draft. Your first line is great. Some of the rest lost me.
First I got stuck on why MC is here (I'm assuming their job, but it feels like a leap of faith).
Second, the similies are nice, but they don't add to the scene/world.

Just wait til you get to revisions and you're aiming to lower your word count. That's the real mind fuck.
I forgot how amazing libraries were until a few years ago. The second I walked back in, it was like the only social media that existed was myspace again.

Close up shot of ripe cilantro seeds
Today I learned that cilantro seeds come in two forms. Ripe, like these, have a citrusy pop of cilantro flavor.
Well, that's what matters in the end ☺️
Acceptance is hard. Here's one piece I've been stuck on for years: forgiveness.

Watching some @gamechanger.dropout.tv to wind down after some serious research on forgiveness.
I forgive you, me, for taking a break.

A left palm holding a bunch of sweet daddy snap peas. Below it there are more peas on a dirty white table. Listen, I'm not cleaning my outside table, ok?
Close up of sweet daddy snap pears on a dirty white table. Like, REAL close. They have little Peter Pan type hats on. It's adorable.
You gotta love the fun little hat on these fellas.

love this! Making things is so fulfilling. "Practicing an art... is a way to make your soul grow," as Vonnegut said.

After returning my grocery cart, I saw a gentleman timidly leaving a cart in the parking spot next to him. I looked at him with a pleasant but slightly judgmental face, pointed to the cart return, and said, "it's right here, you can do it."
He said thanks ☺️.
