They played better than I thought they would. Missed some good opportunities and we can say part of it was luck on their end, but good teams find ways to win and this team has found plenty of ways to lose not just today but over the last two months. That’s coaching. Arteta out.

Doesn’t matter how many chances you get. What matters is converting on those opportunities. Aside from set pieces, this team has had a scoring problem all year. The played well, but it’s the little mistakes that kill you and this team happens to do that a lot.
Back to back walk off wins? These last two games have been stressful and satisfying
Yeah, let’s keep trusting Morejon in high leverage situations….
Tale of two halves. This loss is on Arteta. Failed to make adjustments until it was too late.
Waited way too long for adjustments even after seeing how they had them pinned on the defensive side for minutes.

Please and thank you! 🙏💪
Yeah that’s why it’s one of those stat lines I hate to look at. It’s nice to know they made good contact with the ball but it just ends up pissing me off more knowing a ball should have been a homerun or should have been a solid hit but some unforeseen circumstance prevented it.
How much of the Padres xwOBA stats are due to Swanson and how much of it is due to bad luck?
I love to see it
Where do we even start when breaking down what went wrong… 😭
As soon as they were traded I assumed he’s staying. I would have preferred to have flipped cease cause both were pitching better than him. But with Randy as our 5th option we have to pray no one gets hurt cause the last option would be Waldron. Or a bullpen day.
Laureano and O’Hearn are solid pickups. Still bummed about Leo but man, he did what was needed to fill the positions we needed. And we still have Salas, Mayfield and Cruz
I think the writers enjoy his all in mentality as much as he does. He’s been all over the headlines this morning. I’m not much of a gambler so I’ll appreciate the ride when it pays off. For now I’ll pour out some liquor for Leo, Bergert and Kolek
I’m with you. I don’t like the move, especially because I feel like DeVries is going to be solid. A win now move that mortgages your future for a roster that has been dominant in one position but has two glaring holes in the lineup… It’s a little reckless. But it wouldn’t be AJ if it wasn’t.
Trading your top prospect for a position of strength. Very Preller like move. I’m gonna wait til the deadline is over before crashing out on AJ.
We need to study his mid-game meltdowns. Only thing he’s been reliable for is a 4th or 5th inning barrage.
I really hope this is the last time we see Dylan Cease meltdown in the 5th.
Against a good lefty starter, I expect tomorrow to be a similar outcome.
Maybe this time Pelinka will try to get a quality center on the team. Not like AD wasn’t asking for one for years. I can’t stand Gobert and seeing him get all this acclaim like he wasn’t the biggest man on the court is pissing me off almost as much as this loss.
Pelinka has some work to do this Summer. I’m still okay with them backing out of the Williams trade but his inability to get us a quality center is the reason goofy ass Gobert looked like Wilt Chamberlain.
Is it just a slow start or do you see anything concerning about his performances so far?
I think they’ll make some adjustments at halftime and come out better. Team is cold, just need to go on a run, get close and go from there.
Hopefully next time you come out there’s a game being played. I’m there for almost every match. They like to give the barman hell for his fandom. He’s cool though
Haha probably. The article mentioned he organizes watch parties at a local bar so I just looked up where it is. The bar they supposedly gather at is a block from my house and I’ve NEVER seen spurs fans out there 😂
This is why I found that conspiracy about the Biden administration strategically letting them all in so they could register to vote Dem hilarious. They of course supported the opposite party and ironically they got played.
San Diego Gooners
The song “humble” by Kendrick Lamar was played right on the final whistle at the Emirates Stadium.
I fucking love this football club… 🤣
I feel you. Between all the shit they report on dude and all the rumors they put out about the dodgers I’m fed up
Glad you guys are here. Can you please tell the brothers to come out of hiding and talk to the fans? We’ve shown massive support and broken consecutive attendance records. We deserve to know what the plan for this team is going forward.
