If you're interested in trying out this very new and unexplored format after years of only small gradual changes you can head over to the discord server that will be hosting an asynch tournament for it starting the 21st!
X-Saber as an archetype is probably just not quite there to be good enough, as it didn't get either of it's new synchros and the strategy simply can't keep up with what it has access too.
The set also contains some big improvements to the generic synchro and rank 4 pool, these four among them
Mitsurugi gets many of it's cards, now only missing two of the ritual monsters. Expectations for it aren't that high but it will likely be a relevant deck, either in a pure version like this or in some kind of megalith-based ritual pile
Current expectation of many people playing the format is that sky striker will be the best deck post LD26. The decks gets access to pretty much all of it's old tools as well as zero and lemnisgate so a flexible deck that goes first and second well, akin to this list, might see a lot of success soon
The new Legendary modern decks 2026 will likely cause a large shakeup in common charity's metagame, introducing into the format many strong generics such as these as well as strong archetypes such as sky striker, mitsurugi (and maybe x-saber a little bit)
The Common Charity Cup for Duelist's Advance format is starting next Friday (sorry for the slight delay).
This is an asynchronous online Common Charity tournament. Sign-ups are over on the Common Charity discord: discord.gg/S5K3aXutxc
Join in on Yu-Gi-Oh!'s best official budget format!

New cards from ALIN open up a lot of opportunities in CC, among those is the code igniter engine which can be used to improve endboards in decks with rank 4 access. Here in Melodious it is used to make a dragostapelia and a negate in the form of SA.I.dekick.
Main Deck: Dinowrestler Pankratops x2 Kumongous, the Sticky String Kaiju x3 Amazoness Queen x2 Amazoness Golden Whip Master x3 Amazoness War Chief x3 Amazoness Silver Sword Master x3 Amazoness Princess x3 Amazoness Spiritualist x3 Harpie's Feather Duster x1 Polymerization x3 Reinforcement of the Army x1 Pot of Extravagance x3 Foolish Burial x1 Twin Twisters x2 Amazoness Call x3 Amazoness Secret Arts x3 Amazoness Onslaught x1 Extra Deck: Amazoness Augusta x3 Amazoness Pet Liger King x3 Amazoness Empress x3 Borreload Dragon x3 Geonator Transverser x3 Side Deck: Amazoness Sage x1 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 Raigeki x3 Twin Twisters x1 Dimensional Barrier x3 Expendable Dai x3 Gozen Match x1
Amazoness is a blind second strategy that aims to break boards/otk. It showed some decent results already and recently got Call in the speed duel box. The card for sure makes it stronger and might pull it up into the higher parts of rogue, but how well it'll be able to compete is speculation for now
if anyone is interested in this format i would also like to share a reminder that signups for the next Common Charity Cup are currently up in our discord! The cardpool for this cup will include the new commons from the next OTS pack as well

People are moving to bsky more so we (mainly Gräfin) will start posting here again, as a start here's vampire: a deck that aims to establish an advantage engine using its recursion and the searchable negate vampire domination. This is held together with zombie support like unizombie and swallowslash
Main Deck: Elemental HERO Stratos x3 Colonel on C-String x3 Elemental HERO Shadow Mist x2 Vision HERO Vyon x3 Elemental HERO Bubbleman x3 Cross Keeper x3 E - Emergency Call x3 A Hero Lives x3 Harpie's Feather Duster x1 Polymerization x1 Reinforcement of the Army x1 Miracle Fusion x1 Cosmic Cyclone x3 Mask Change x1 Forbidden Chalice x3 Super Polymerization x3 The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine x3 Extra Deck: Starving Venom Fusion Dragon x1 Elemental HERO Absolute Zero x1 Vision HERO Trinity x1 Elemental HERO Sunrise x1 Masked HERO Dark Law x1 Mudragon of the Swamp x1 Number S39: Utopia the Lightning x1 Number 39: Utopia x1 Time Thief Redoer x1 Light Dragon @Ignister x1 Tornado Dragon x1 Heroic Champion - Excalibur x1 Abyss Dweller x1 Number F0: Utopic Future x1 Codebreaker Virus Swordsman x1 Side Deck: Radian, the Multidimensional Kaiju x3 Dinowrestler Pankratops x2 Artifact Lancea x3 Predaplant Dragostapelia x1 Twin Twisters x3 Dimensional Barrier x3
Hero is a deck with many variants, this rank 4 build tries to make good use of the rank 4 toolbox with bubbleman while also utilizing vision HERO vyon, one of the cards this archetype got in battles of legend.
Main Deck: Alpha, the Master of Beasts x1 Radian, the Multidimensional Kaiju x3 Kumongous, the Sticky String Kaiju x3 Tenyi Spirit - Ashuna x3 Tenyi Spirit - Vishuda x3 Naturia Camellia x3 Tenyi Spirit - Nahata x1 Tenyi Spirit - Mapura x1 Tenyi Spirit - Shthana x3 Naturia Rosewhip x1 Naturia Stinkbug x1 Penguin Soldier x1 Naturia Sunflower x1 Melffy Pony x1 Melffy Puppy x3 Melffy Pinny x1 Kalantosa, Mystical Beast of the Forest x2 Melffy Catty x2 Melffy Wally x3 Naturia Mole Cricket x3 Tenyi Spirit - Adhara x3 Harpie's Feather Duster x1 Naturia Blessing x1 Heavenly Dragon Circle x3 Naturia Sacred Tree x1 Extra Deck: Diabolantis the Menacing Mantis x1 Penguin Brave x1 Merry Melffys x1 Number 29: Mannequin Cat x1 Joyous Melffys x2 Onibimaru Soul Sweeper x1 Borreload Dragon x1 Berserker of the Tenyi x1 Ra'ten, the Heavenly General x1 Shaman of the Tenyi x2 Monk of the Tenyi x3 Side Deck: Pankratops x2 Ash Blossom x3 Naturia Vein x1 Twin Twisters x3 Impermanence x3 Threatening Roar x3
This is Melffy Naturia Tenyi, a deck that tries to even out the weakness of a lack of pressure that both naturia and melffy have by using tenyis. The Melffies provide constant value and some disruption to this deck while the naturia engine slows the game down by disrupting the opponent.
Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates! This is LunaKaiju, a deck that aims to go second and either OTK or break a board and amass an advantage by using dangers, as well as kaijus and their interaction with fairy tail luna. This list plays santa claws as a kaiju-equivalent that fits the season
This is resonator, a deck that tries to use its rebeatable combo to access synchro boss monsters like hot red dragon archfiend abyss or void ogre dragon. It also has access to a decent toolbox due to both witch of the black forest and red dragon archfiend spell/traps.
The fire king structure deck added a few new cards to the format, among those are obviously some decent cards for fire king. This build of the deck tries to utilize the powerful recursion and removal effect of garunix to its best by playing trap cards and slowing the game down.
This is Lunalight, the best deck of the format. The deck aims to go first and make multiple rank 4s easily with good follow up, while being able to use the fusions, mainly leo dancer, as strong tools of aggression on attacking turns, which makes going second pretty easy as well.
This is HERO Beat, a hero deck that tries to play the deck in a way akin to how it was played historically, using miracle fusion/necro fusion as ways to drop a big fusion monster with utility in a control deck. This build also tries to use gemini spark with neos allius for advantage and removal
This is Ninja, a deck which received a lot of support from the 25th anniversary tins in the form of baku and notebook, which make the decks grind game a lot better and give it more consistency to go into its strong lategame engine
It is once again time for a Common Charity Cup! This will be a swiss-style asynchronous tournament with 3 day rounds, as well as top cut. The tournament will be held on our discord server and allow new commons from the crimson king structure deck.
Hey since tear is dead konami can I get my common scheiren
This is Melffy/Assault mode, a melffy deck that uses the assault mode engine, that recently got reflector for cc in the crimson king structure, to make stardust assault mode who is a recurrable negation tool, which helps mitigates melffy's weakness to boardbreakers. As well as other synchro monsters
A new TCG banlist just release and gazelle got unlimited, so here's salamangreat (again). Due to being able to play 3 gazelle instead of one the deck now gets to play pot of desires easily, although that does make the predaplant engine worse, which is why this list doesn't include it.
This is symphonic, a combo/midrange deck that aims to make powerful payoffs like vortex and wolfrayet on their first turn, while also overpowering the opponent in a potential grind game due to the recursion offered by the symphonics, which also provide a lot of removal with amplifire and rockks.
This is megalith Libromancer, probably the best way to make use of all the new libromancer cards is to use them with megalith. They provide some very good utility with their searchable trap cards and their ritual monsters, which are also extention due to libromancer first appearance.
Grandtusk dragon is a decently strong build around that might see some applications with vernuslyphs. The tins also included Runick Disspelling and Smiting Storm, which might see play summoning the already legal freki. And melffy staring contest is a decent card for its archetype
Another Archetype that received good support is therion, which was previously a good control strategy that was just missing a bit, it received cross and empress, as well as irregular. Another card worth mentioning is Wollow, a very good generic rank 6.
Libromancer didn't exist as a deck in common charity before these tins, but they contain almost all of its cards, with the exception of geek boy, fire and origin story. These cards will most likely make the deck viable in the format, either pure or with megalith!
Another strategy that received very good support is fiend control, mainly in the very strong trap card ghastly glitch. And the tin also included the labrynth cards stovie, chandra, cooclock, barrage, farewelcome, set-up and archfiend, these synergise well with the fiend playstyle.
