I feel like that kind of “upped the stakes” (pun intended) for the lore, how Dracula X Doom team up was as they imprisoned Draculas biggest opponent.

I’m now leaning towards the idea that the internet was a mistake. People like Flat Earthers, Vaccine Conspiracy Theorists, Climate Deniers etc were basically fringe individuals prior to the ability to communicate en masse as they would generally be shamed into oblivion.
