Anyway, Zelda has been on my lap all day. Navi on my laptop and occasionally reaching out so I give her scritches. And Midna brought her string toy to me twice in addition to laying on the blanket at my feet for a couple hours.

It's forever wild to me that people will, with their full chest, say that cats aren't affectionate. Mine are always wanting either attention, to be on my lap, or bring their toys to me to play with.

I continue to say that baseball is the only* sport where there's always a chance until the final out. there's no clock to say your time is up; no other team to run your chances down. Just the batting team, and their ability to string the right sequence together.

I grew up in the northern suburbs of Atlanta and have stayed a fan since. I've not payed much attention to baseball of late, but i keep tabs of the Braves. Fulton was a bit bland, but good viewing.

I was a "regular" at Fulton Co and the Ted before I moved. Similarly haven't been since the new space so I'm excited to check it out

Everyone doesn't have a cell phone actually. Many unhoused individuals don't and many people can't keep their phone on all the time. Then there are times when your phone is dead or there is no service. Or maybe you had your phone taken and need help. Lots of reason to have public phones.

My friend is running a 200 miler and I can't help but be in awe for what she's accomplishing. Those off is in the ultra community are "crazy" but as @jpbaumgardner.bsky.social put it: if i am as "crazy" and compassionate as her, that's truly a life goal... so maybe that's the next step. 😅
