I love reading novels. I’m always amazed by folks who don’t read fiction. There is nothing better, to me, than being in the middle of a book that you can’t wait to return to. It’s like living two lives at once.

it's funny to me how there is zero compunction to call me by my husband's name immediately after i got married even though i've never changed my name but as soon as a trans person chooses their name it's so difficult to call them by their chosen name.
