It’s deeply sick how women in particular are part of the charge to undo any and all gains made during the MeToo movement, which were already so small compared to the scale of injustice. Now women are playing into the idea that it was all a lie, to the tune of temporary profit and endless peril

Justifying victim blaming in cases where victims have been immoral, unethical, and harmful just creates the fallacy that abuse can be denied if you just dig up or make up bad things the victim has done. We see this play out every day

One great thing about Bluesky is it has yet to be corrupted by mainstream social media culture of viral videos making fun of women who are visibly reacting to being assaulted and/or abused and calling them crazy and warning men to stay away from women like them
