Of course it'd be this post. I'm glad it could make some of you laugh. I should say: before anyone takes this too seriously, while this all really happened, it is a mere lighthearted joke—not about shame, but a habit of some either to lie or overestimate their own corn dogs. We've heard it before.
I ate a foot-long corn dog today. I was skeptical, so I measured it. It was 9". A man must have made it.
I grew extremely tired all of a sudden and took a nap. When I woke up, I decided to write this poem on my Notes app in bed, in the dark. I'm pleased how it's come out, though I must keep it close to my chest.
An empty canvas or document bears the same magnetic pole as does my brain. Despite my intent, they are sworn never to meet unless by sheer force. (I'm writing an ekphrastic poem about an original artwork of mine, but I'm unsure how to begin.)

I've just wrapped live action One Piece S2, and as a fan of the original manga, I still believe this adaptation fucking nails it. It's not 1:1, but what it sets itself up to do, I think it does it well and hits the main beats. I sobbed during a certain character backstory, again.

Is this strictly an ADHD thing, or is it applicable to autism as well? I'm undiagnosed either way, though I've long suspected I'm the latter. Sometimes I wonder at the potential of AuDHD, though I feel uncomfortable applying labels as if it's fashion when others' experiences are more severe.
Even if my feelings toward my relationships aren't, to me, subject to degradation, I'm not the center of our world; I try to consider their feelings as well, which is how it gets to being frustrating I am this way.
This is why I prefer phone calls for conversation. Even if it stands to be a little more awkward, it is the fastest way to hear back from me. Don't gotta agonize over what to say, how to say it, if we're bouncing our thoughts off one another in real time—with tonal cues.
Exceptions exist for making plans; I'm mindful of time-sensitive material. Casually chatting, however—I struggle. This is in part because I anticipate it being ongoing. I'm someone, too, who feels obligated to respond to every beat to show I'm really listening. And it piles up.
It's incredibly frustrating to experience such profound levels of executive dysfunction with regard to returning correspondence. I make it known I'm a slow replier, but even that doesn't excuse the cases in which I might ghost a dear friend involuntarily.
I'd fallen off my routine toward the end of last month, in part for low spirits and for sleep schedule adjustments ahead of that play. Well, one of the girls at the writer's group I attended last week is really cute. I went for a 6.7-mi. walk today.

One more thing about Persona: As a word nerd, I think it's the coolest thing still how magic and stat-altering skills follow a system of prefixes and suffixes to denote {strength tiers, number of targets, self or enemy application}. Perceptive players know at a glance what these skills are about.

For as glad as I am to have "caught up," I'm eager as well to move forward. I'm unsure what will be next for me; I like to vary which mediums I'm engaged with. In games, I'm contemplating Resident Evil (2002). One thing at a time. First, I'll want to bump the full P3R OST. ♫
That's Persona 3 Reload and Episode Aigis both in the books! Finally—I'd been chipping away at them for months before recently shifting my focus. I'm more satisfied for having played the DLC, though I'd recommend interested parties purchase on sale and to know, yes, it can be a grind.

I have had to brush grass off our dog three times already today and vacuum it up—the grass, not our dog. I don't want to suppress her whimsy; if rolling in the light of the sun is her joy, so be it. But she has a checkup at the vet and can't be seen waddling in the door with ass sprinkles.
I decided last evening to attend a writer's group at my public library. As this was not their inaugural meeting, mainly I listened to their roundtable critiques. I tried to participate where I could. I'm glad I went and met a few new people. It's my hope this will push me to write more.
