Thy honestly could have just given you a base ilvl Nazuwu (the DF legendary) and a matching shield as your “artifact” along with a biiiig warning that you won’t have a class hall campaign and therefore will not see the full Legion content that is available.

Adding to this that EM3 in Hades 1 is so easy because it’s very cheesable with the Athena boon for Dash, specially once you have the multiple dashes and even more so with the Hermes boon for bonus dashes!

Maybe the cheese builds are just stronger in 2. I definitely felt that my build in 2 had more synergy across gods than in 1.

Still, fantastic games. Lots to unlock left and fun runs to do. (Also restarted fresh on 1).
