Forever one of my favorites of yours
I’ve decided to get a little more serious about learning some camera repair. I re-lubed a few old lenses this week, and soon I’ll try replacing shutter curtains on some old Leicas and clones.
More often than not I’ve been going up to a particular spot in the foothills to shoot, because the rental studios nearby are expensive and all seem to have that factory-line boudoir look besides.

Some film does better with a bit more exposure. I shoot Fomapan 400 at 200. Portra and Fuji color films seem to like being overexposed.
This takes me back to waiting for the rest of an image to load in over a slow connection 🙂
That was my first “real” camera too. I inherited mine from my great-grandfather.
I know how overdue I am for my regular walks by how neurotic I’m getting.
