"frenetic energy". WTF is that? These US announcers are just awful.

Thanks for the article Arpon. I'm not a Times subscriber so usually can't read your articles. That one was fun to read.
βThe changes in our life must come from the impossibility to live otherwise than according to the demands of our conscience not from our mental resolution to try a new form of lifeβ Leo Tolstoy
It's true. I've lived it.
Hage's imposter syndrome, if in fact that's what it is, is concerning. If he truly feels he's not ready for the pros but Martone is, that's a psychological issue that could haunt him. I certainly hope they all sort this out. You're right, pro coaching could be the cure.
I do like the Reinbacher - Hutson pairing.
I was 5 but I remember watching with my parents. I wasn't understanding the game all that well but we sure had a good time!
That was all Dobes. He should have covered that puck.
I'm liking the Reinbacher - Hutson and the Xhekaj - Engstrom pairings.
Interesting how, because there were so many post whistle scuffles not involving Xhekaj, his name wasn't mentioned much. But he had a heck of a game laying out a few opponents with solid, clean checks. Great to see the rest of the team with grit. Kucherov is such a dirty little pest.
Demi's look deke was brilliant, yes. But Slaf's pass to Caulfield? A redirect, behind him, through his legs! Right in Cole's wheelhouse. My gawd. I couldn't stop watching the replay. That was absolutely amazing. And that jump up to the slot on the rush by Hutson? This team!
Never. Not possible.
He looks much better. Steady. Confident. Technically sound. And taking advantage of his athleticism. He's the complete package.
For now I think I see why Engstrom was called up instead of Reinbacher. Engstrom has more NHL experience and the pressure now and in the playoffs is tremendous. Reinbacher will benefit from a little more seasoning in Laval.
Anything tacos is a smash!
It's exciting when you're 70!
I hear Carrier is scratched so do they move Xhekaj back or put in Engstrom?
At least you have hair!
Teddy's our adoption sweetie (that side eye tho π)
I was there. They really didn't. The Canes pressured. They're a good team. Dobes answered and the PK is really clicking.
He's playing much better. Earlier this season he would overplay the puck. Taking much larger movements than necessary. He's much more grounded and technical as of late. More focused. Marciano?
Why do they have those bulky stanchions behind the net? What hockey genius thought of that? That's not the first time I've seen an ugly bounce off those.
The Newhook-Kap-Demi line is starting to click.
Fact.
Thursday I texted my sister that Demi was having a really good game. He carried that over to tonight. And tonight I said to my spouse that the Newhook-Kap-Demi line is starting to click. Love to see it.
A pure sniper.
Absolute smash!
Wow, she's super calm. That's amazing.
Don't know why they can't find a way to put Hutson on his natural side. He's shown how well that suits his game. Wins aren't always going to be pretty like this week's Tuesday. More often than not your forechecking grinders will keep you on it in the playoffs. Last night was a good sign
That piece is π― and I see a lot of armchair coach griping on here. I remember fall of 2024 I said to my brother who was poohpoohing the Habs, how much I enjoyed watching then. Suzuki and Caulfield were showing flashes of what they could do. And how things will only get better with a little time.
