So by the time 6.1 picks up, it would have been a couple years since Vala came back home on the verge of dying from his injuries and pushing himself past his limits.
In his Au Ra appearance, he now has a large scar over his left shoulder and a deep scar over his abs, though they are minor looking in his dragon form.
It took him about 4 months to physically and mentally recover, then he was revealed that Y'shtola was pregnant with their firstborn.
It wasn't just the fight against Zenos that took Vala out, it was the fact that he fought in the Dead Ends and then against the Endsinger, THEN the fight against Zenos. He was exhausted, beat up, especially since both Endsinger and Zenos took more out of him than he ever had before.
This was during a time that he truly had to watch his behavior and appearance, as the war against Nidhogg went against his draconic nature. While he was glad that he could, for that night, loosen his behavior to be his true self, he felt horrible afterwards.
Valastrasz had his first time with an Ishgardian woman who saw the Au Ra part of him and wanted to do a roleplay that he was a 'vile heretic, half turned by those horribel Dravanians, come to ravage the great Ishgardian people'.
Honestly, right makes it stand out more, while left looks like she has had it for some years and it just naturally started to fade.
Then in 7.4 he FINALLY was able to relax and not be on edge any more, explore with his wife. But now..........
So, all I will say from the trailer of 7.5 is that if my guesses are correct, Valastrasz will not be having a good time lol
Dawntrail started with 'hey, I will take my son and daughter to help Wuk Lamat and be their mentor' to 'ok, this is wrong and fucked up and it all needs to burn to the ground'

Y'shtola might want to have sex with Vala and his clone, but Vala's draconic nature wouldn't allow it.
They might train......that could potentially devolve into a full blown fight, but it definitely would start civil enough.
