Happy new year - hoping 2026 bring heath amd happiness!

A meet up for dog walking today with friends - we met at University over 30 years ago. University isn't just about the subject, but connecting and forging friendships and if you are lucky meeting your best friends in the week 1 lecture!

It was great to speak at the ICALLD symposium and engage with peers from across the world about assessment discussing how we need to ensure assessment is inclusive, compassionate and transparent and how we are advancing assessment at @unisouthampton.bsky.social within the Assessment Consultancy.

I recently took up an invitation to be a reviewer for the Journal of Learning Development in Higher Education journal and it has been a pleasure to work within a supportive community for authors and reviewers - I have also read some fantastic submissions! #peerreview #HE @jldhe.bsky.social
