That’s stupid thing to say. I was clearly mad from the start of this thread. I didn’t suddenly get mad when your dumb ass showed up.

Of course, we're going to need a derogatory term for That Guy who says "the correct thing to do with them is throw them in the bin!"
Worst case scenario wanker fits the bill, also that's a waste of food, fuck you
I just thought this could be something for the microwave meal fandom, but if this was all that you got on the box instead of normal instructions, it could also serve as gatekeeping. The normies don't deserve them, they're just for people who want to spend more time on the computer
Microwave meals should have abbreviations and jargon and shorthand notation for the cooking time and instructions. Instead of "do not pierce and remove film, 4 minutes and then stir and replace film and then 1 minute" it's "no pierce 4s1"
This is probably why I don't have a girlfriend. The universe has conspired to prevent me from becoming this
What if there was a romantic relationship between two of the genre of people who ask silly/pointless hypothetical questions as a bit and one proposed to the other by asking "what if you were my wife"
My Cougar Luxlim shows up in OpenRGB as a "Red Square Keyrox TKL Classic" and the key backlight can be controlled, but not the underglow. That's kind of interesting considering I didn't think it could be controlled by software at all.
Are the Three Sisters the protagonists of Katoomba? What narrative role do they serve? I'm going to overthink this for a minute or two before I get another coffee
To me, April Fool's Day is just April Normal's Day. Just a glimpse into my dark twisted mind.
But also I do kinda think that these sites shouldn't be allowed to show up in search results? If I can't get the information from that page then they aren't relevant
Who the fuck do they think they are? They are just one of many search results that I'm flipping through. If you're not going to let me read the page, then fuck off. The only thing I'm subscribing to here is my foot up your arse.
"You've read your last free article." - site that I am pretty sure I've never been to before in my life
I didn't think an announcement could be this pointless. Albo didn't even announce a bunch of farming sims or Pokemon Cafe Mix content
That's it? No Smash?
I'm hooooooooome!!!!!!!! And my home did not catch fire or explode or get broken into! And… I left the lights on! Oh no, mein electricitybillen
Finally out of Queensland so now I can say: From the river to the sea, Crisafulli's seat next election will be free
It's Megan, the author of all these skeets. She doesn't know how to describe her appearance. If you are blind or vision impaired etc, please imagine that this is a selfie of the coolest person you will ever see and just by looking at her, you can tell she is a seasoned traveller and skilled gamer.
The view near the reception of Seaview on Norfolk Island. It's called Seaview because you see a view. Well, you also see the sea from the other side where the rooms are. I dunno if I can list every plant that's in this image, sorry. There's a big palm tree in there. I don't know if it's native to the island. No Norfolk pines in this photo, but it's not like you can miss out on seeing any while you're here.
And so now I wait for the airport transfer shuttle to take me back to the airport, where I can wait for longer, but perhaps without internet (mainland SIMs don't get reception here. I'm using the hotel's free wifi still. That's a lifesaver).
A bottle of long life milk, that says Anchor: New Zealand Since 1886, and "Lait Entier", and other milk things. I'm in an Australian territory, and I get Kiwi milk and it's in French. What a time to be alive. I guess France and Aotearoa are closer to here than the mainland.
A box saying "Yummy Karma" "Pizza to Go" "Four Cheese and Pesto Pizza with Spinach and Mushroom", on an airplane table. Also a single Lindt chocolate. And disposable cutlery wrapped up in paper.
My silly clumsy hand in the way of me getting a good pic, and the opened pizza box, revealing that it is indeed pizza with pesto and mushroom and such. Not quite what you'd have as a full meal normally, but if I wasn't on holiday, I'd eat this amount for whole entire lunch.
A tiny hand sized bottle of red wine. It says "Andrew Peace 2024" "Murphy's Block" "Shiraz Cabernet" and Victoria. I forgot to take a photo of the other side but it was 2 standard drinks. Now that's how you handle anxiety around flying! Also water. Also there was apple juice too!
Bonus: The milk that was in the hotel fridge for coffee, and what Qantas provided as complimentary snacks on the way here from SYD. Just as well Qantas has a monopoly on this route! I was forced into luxury. Imagine if I flew Jetstar and got nothing.
The view from Hilli's, just so you can see just how fancy it is. That's a bottle of water on the table. You know this is a fancy restaurant when they give you free water before they take your menu. It seemed to be one of the best rated restaurants on the island so I had to do it. For lunch, because I think dinner needed a reservation.
Seafood crepe ($29.50) (served with salad _and_ chips), which has like prawn and fish and mornay sauce in it, and an iced coffee which I think was actually $7.50. That feels like what I would pay for a similar iced coffee (with ice cream and such) back home in Canberra.
Malibu splice at Salty Beer Garden, $15. It's not illegal to visit the same place twice for dinner on holiday, right? Or a faux pas, rather. But because of opening hours and the fancy places requiring reservations, my options were limited, so I went back to where I know was good.
Steak sandwich at Salty Beer Garden, $28. Obviously served with chips. It's just a sizzle steak that you would normally use in a sandwich, not a fancy steak.
And part three. I don't know if there's a Norfuk word for three or if it's also just three, my Norfuk dictionary that I bought as a souvenir is in my suitcase and I don't wanna unpack it again.
Lime slushee from The Reef. They did warn me the lid was a bit loose. It's fine.
Farmhouse melt from The Helm Cafe, and also my iced latte that I was in the middle of drinking. One day I'll be good at arranging things on a table for photography purposes. This had chicken and onion and avocado and various other things, or maybe it was just mostly that. Quite good though. $25 I think
Margherita from Moffy's Pizza and Pasta. I hope I got the pizza and cocktail the right way around this time. Forgot how much it was, $15 or something? Or was it $18?
Margarita from Moffy's Pizza and Pasta. The only food I ate here that was not served with chips. I would have liked chips on pizza but this was just a normal pizza restaurant. I think it was $28, which maybe isn't normal, but you have to expect a remote island to be a bit pricier.
Part deux
Fish and chips and such from The Reef. Wasn't sure of the portion sizes on the menu so I ended up having a fair bit left over for lunch the next day too. $32 or something like that
Espresso martini from Salty Beer Garden, $15
McSalty Crispy Chicken Burger from Salty Beer Garden, $28. Every single food at every single restaurant here is served with chips.
Iced latte from The Helm Cafe. I think it was $8.
The foods of Norfolk Island, part 1
Rookie numbers… I need to keep on skeeting
Let's get this place HUMID! - Bulbasaur
Nobody:
The weather when I visit Norfolk Island:
@profanity.accountant How many swear words have I swore
Collins Head Rd, Norfolk Island
Kingston, Norfolk Island. Nepean Island and Phillip Island are visible in the distance and Cemetery Bay is nearby.
I had to grind for this view (realised I went the wrong way and I will be probably very sore tomorrow)
Nahhhhhh Sydney strikes again with making up suburb names that definitely weren't there before. What the hell is "Brighton-Le-Sands"? What is this, Quebec?
The RAM crisis isn’t manufactured, it’s basically NVIDIA and people building data centers using NVIDIA gpus buying up all the ram. OpenAI isn’t buying anything because OpenAI doesn’t own any infrastructure. The ram shortage is real because of ai data centers but not OpenAI’s imaginary order
NOTHING. OpenAI bought NO RAM. EVER. This was an entirely "letter of intent" based story that nobody bothered to actually read up on. An embarrassment to journalism that it spread this far
Perhaps they were stupid enough to believe that the remaining sign was "Rob, son!" and that it was instructions.
