Happy Spring Equinox everyone! Just a few signs of Spring here but snowdrops are out.. soon!
On international womens day, I got a text soliciting for my labor and resources from a PAC. There is some kind of irony in that.

I love that the woman working at the laundromat is organizing tenants in her substandard building that she pays entirely too much for. We just got a mayor who will back them up and is advocating. Small victories on a local level will take us places.
I want to know about influencers who have the latest tips for disabling ai features to optimize social media for people with visual disabilities, in particular, those of us who are deep right brained thinkers with P300 latency .
sometimes, when I think about whether or not my engagement with the world is effective, I think of Bucky Fuller's quote, " call me trimtab" and I realize the brilliance of even the tiniest acts.
At one point, in another life, I was privy to Persian hospitality. It was otherworldly. An Arabic astrologer once told me that the West will never understand the subtle ways of life in the Orient. I think he was right. And now, we shall see. May mercy prevail.
I think my best moments with social media have actually been in connecting people with real life events that allow them meet people face to face. Also, connecting with research that helped me in my health journey, and allowed me to help others.
I'd like to motivate myself to create something for this platform that feels friendlier and detach from the dopamine depletion machine on the meta side of things. I have done social media for work.

Fun new US finance theory. Warren Buffet knows the players and was observing them and acting accordingly. I don't work for Berkshire Hathaway, I'm just some clown.
Losar Tashi Delek to all of my friends who celebrate.
to follow the previous post, it is fun to sing on the street where others are gathering. It excites and engages people. They want to know " who you are with". They want you to rehearse, so it is good. You don't in fact have to be or do anything. And it's fun and you will meet people.
How embarrassing! I have been sending people here, from that " other platform" but haven't been posting. Apologies. I am an inconsistent human.
I think the most fun of going out to sing on the street this week was getting heckled " Nice hat asshole!" It was in fact, a very nice hat. In red.

This has been one of my best experiences of autumn here so far.
Name of the zine is Death to the World and it has a pic of Mary and baby on the cover.

Zahid helped me with kindness and acts of material support when I was having trouble after a concussion. In his career served as a mental health specialist, often visiting very distressed people in the brig. He is currently in ICE detention in Tacoma.
we had a local screening of this film and it really made me think about my community involvement and how it has helped me " come to life" . I haven't left my work with neuromodulation behind, but I feel like I am in an era of co-regulation, through music and art.

Because of my visual challenges, I have a natural aversion to the news. Turns out that may be positively adaptive in the current moment.
Growing up in 1980s Ohio, this was one of the videos that I felt accurately represented the future.
Found a cream puff filled with tasty fruits, got clean MRI result from some worrisome testing and had a lovely cold beverage on a porch in a rainstorm. Amidst the horrors, the treats keep coming.
I feel like this summer is full of 1980s nostalgia. And this one has lingered with me for a few days.
