I’m sorry Jolyon but from what I’ve seen from the inside of the legal profession, I am not remotely surprised, just disappointed.

I’m actually relishing a representative from tv licensing to try their luck on behalf of the “Reform Broadcasting Corporation”.

I think this kills any pretence that this was ever about “reasonable concerns”

In hindsight, given how disappointing the legal profession became, I should perhaps have waited until I’d qualified, as it was the HR process that dragged, not the vetting!

I passed developed vetting twice. On the second occasion I ended up turning the job down for a solicitors training contract. It was made very clear that appointment was conditional on vetting being granted.

This is beyond belief, they are doing their hardest to stop access to HRT, whilst promoting….the use…. of hrt?

smacks of apartheid, which is ironic given most of the anti apartheid supporters in the 80’s were labour politicians, I mean actually labour politicians and not the Reform Light Labour we have at the moment

Important; the Starmer regime has repeatedly LIED about the “Supreme” Court misjudgement.

They can overturn it or amend the Equality Act any time without even going through parliament but ARE CHOOSING not to. They are imposing trans segregation because they WANT to while pretending they HAVE to.

'I vigorously dispute that I asked the so-called Equality and Human Rights Commission not to totally do trans people over' is quite the message from a Labour Party that has completely lost the plot.

can’t help but think this is just a massive grift to benefit Gender Bigoted barristers who just love the sweet sweet coin that comes with these cases on behalf of wealthy Christo fascists…

I don't believe in their god, but I'm pretty sure I live more of a Christ-like life than US Christofascist Evangelicals. (Though imperfectly so of course)

It's a stretch to call their beliefs Christianity, rather than patriarchy and white supremacism with a fetish for some select parts of the Bible

1/🧵 Codes of Practice offer informal exceptions or, as a regulatory lawyer might describe it, a “safe harbour” as there regulatory environment and laws remain uncertain.

They know “the law” does not demand exclusion. So, hate groups are demanding a safe harbour for their hatred.

If you ignore all the transphobic hate on x, and to a lesser extent by bad faith actors on here, our country remains a place of beauty and acceptance. That’s something I’ve lost sight of recently. Taking time out to appreciate the beautiful in the world, rather than the ugly, is uplifting 🫶🏻

I’d be quite happy to see the last of them and have Lakenheath and Mildenhall used to tackle our endemic housing crisis instead of a base to attack other countries

anyone who thinks our us maintained, us built “deterrent” is independent needs their head examined. Just look at the companies involved in the firing and targeting chain, almost all entirely american.

my peaceful working day is regularly interrupted by jets from Lakenheath roaring in circles

labour’s policies are akin to state violence, put into practical effect by a legal profession whom gender critical extremists claim they’ve lost faith with

it’s clear that nothing less than our annihilation will be acceptable so how do we defend against such entrenched hatred if not with violence?
