Mutual aid request for a disabled comrade in the hospital!

Cactus has been in the ER with CSF leaks, so we’re taking turns staying with him 24/7 to advocate on his behalf. We’re asking for $300 to cover rides to/from the hospital & food for the volunteers.

This for sure! And in art and music too. I’ve been mostly using IG lately to find interesting musicians and visual artists and even when the algorithm is correct in my realm of interest the creators it pushes first and foremost continue to be men 😤 not surprising to me, but always frustrating

that algorithm will not help you find women at all you’ve got to go into talented women’s “following” to find other talented women or you’re lost. i have to deliberately withhold engagement from the accounts of somewhat talented men just to keep the ship afloat.

i’ve been using instagram more lately and wow you really gotta keep both hands on the wheel over there or else that algorithm will have you following a bunch of men

Telling conservative women that men hate them isn't really a dunk or a "gotcha" because they knew that, and their whole worldview is based on navigating a world where the best they can aspire to is the favor of specific men who hate them.

We're well past the point where we should understand this.

To be quite blunt, I am quite shocked at how few people seem to understand conservative women, given that most of us probably grew up around at least one. Conservative women do not think men like women. They do not expect men to. They have a very fatalistic view of the world and their place in it.

I just want to emphasize how deeply this goes for right-wingers. What may appear like a contradiction or “false consciousness” is a profound dedication to bordering regime. To such an extent that some will, with glad intent, make their corpses a part of its infrastructure.
