This is so obvious. I cant belive americans that thinks are smarter than anyone else did not understand this and did not find a solution for this.
Another portrait i did during that session. Images were taken on 4x5 Harman Direct Positive Paper and i had to develope immediately to check if the exposition was correct.
A portrait of a friend. I talked with this friend about my project to take portrait to surfers and she agreed to let me take portrait of her and her friends. This was probably the very very first image of this Italians gone Surfing series that now count hundreds of portraits.
It is absolutely clear and evident. He didn’t even try to hide this. But seems nobody cares.

I like your way of drawing. This one for example reminds me the cover of the box of sennelier oil pastel. I like to draw as well but I came from technical drawing and I found very difficult subject like portrait or those dynamic lines.
