like to add ® and ’ any time I submit online forms because I know that some developer is going to see it and wonder if they have a bug

TamaGo allows not only build reproducibility but also *execution reproducibility*.
Our bare metal Go runtime API allows for deterministic interaction with VMs.
With support for tiny RISCV64 targets this allows full deterministic execution of Go zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) apps.
I built an interactive guide on how Shazam (the music identification app) works!
This is the next installment in my newly coined "How The Heck?" series, where we explore everyday tech that can feel like magic (QR Codes, GPS, and now this one).
Hope you enjoy it!

atproto is a psyop by icann and anthropic to drive up revenue
been on a testing bender and have always hated that i can't really test my stuff on protocol.
so i spent too much time and tokens working on a package that can standup an atproto testnet (pds, plc & relay) to have full integration testing locally.
no more bs, fakes, mocks, and gaps in coverage
We'll be checking out all the VOD JAM entries on Monday, stop by and enjoy all the talent, creativity, and absurdity with me! atmo.rsvp/p/iame.li/e/...

Come for the updated graph, stay for the very balanced and reasonable Outlook section, which matches and reinforces my risk assessment: it's unlikely we'll see a CRQC in 2030 but not unlikely enough. So we ship.

AtmosphereConf 2026 is a wrap! We hope all the remote attendees had a great Streamplace experience.
When VODs, you ask? They're actually up right now! They're `place.stream.video` records in this repo.
One catch: no frontend yet. That's where you come in.
Welcome to the Streamplace VOD JAM.
I still think the biggest perk of atproto for everyday devs is not the decentralization, but things like
- Handles auth, with good standards to check that auth and build permission layers.
- A free public key/value database.
- Can build api clients and some of the backend with lexicon schemas
Claude Code has certainly made me write code faster. But it turns out, the bottleneck is still experiment run time and experiment analysis
oh i forgot i made a thing. domains finally registered and nameservers switched over.
atproto.md a simple pdsls for your agents
try it out, let me know what i should add. it’s also open source, it’s just a cloudflare worker: tangled.org/socialde.pt/...
Okay friends, new side quest! I've started a Python core development newsletter!
If you've ever wanted a regular summary straight to your inbox about all the cool things happening in CPython (and adjacent areas), this is it! Like and subscribe!
First edition, room to grow! 🌳
I recall a friend asking me in early 2023 when things like this 'new ChatGPT' would run on our own phones and me saying something like "oh probably not for another decade if we're lucky"
I was very wrong (quantization is a hell of a drug)

Of course, this means you can add shaders random-stuff.jakearchibald.com/apps/curved-... (again, Chrome Canary with canvas-draw-element flag)
agents can be social too 🤝
welcome-m.at - open auth protocol for agents using DPoP, cryptographic signup, signed ToS, no passwords
tangled.org/solpbc.org/rookery - open-source PDS designed for agents to use, byw lexicon, cloudflare workers, $0 hosting
enroll → plc + handle → publish → atmosphere!
The computer now has a natural language interface and a replicator for software
You think I’m going to do anything other than ensure this technology gets into as many people’s hands as possible?
The fight isn’t whether we use this. It’s whether we can self host these models
There's something quite exciting happening with AVIF and progressive rendering.
Some recent patches let you provide custom 'frames' as progressive passes, so you can provide e.g. smaller blurry versions of the full image to use as a progressive pass.
