Panel 1 shows vash’s back, playing with kids, 2 next to him and 1 on his shoulders. a red ball is tossed in the air. Panel 2 shows the back of kid Livio in a red shirt and kid Wolfwood grabbing his hand with a smile, Melanie and the other caretaker being next to him. Panel 3 shows the back of adult Wolfwood, Punisher in hand, looking down at a bloody red splatter. It then progresses down to a somber expressed Wolfwood, hand cupped to catch the falling white feather of the birds. 2 panels behind shows Vash noticing Wolfwood and him sneakily handing the red ball to one of the kids while pointing towards Wolfwood. It then pans to Wolfwood looking downwards, noticing a red ball rolling towards him, stopping against the tip of his shoe.

Wolfwood looks up, holding the red ball in his hands as Vash speaks, “Wolfwood. We don’t have enough players… Can you join us?” The comic pans out to show a clearer shot of Vash and the other kids, 3 to his left, 2 on his right, and the 1 still on his shoulders tugging at his hair. The other kids have a mixed of shy, neutral, and smiley expressions. Wolfwood is surprised by the question but then smiles brightly as he says, “Yeah, since it can’t be helped…” before getting up. The final shot shows a group shot of Vash and the kids with Wolfwood approaching, handing the red ball back to the child who rolled it to him. At the foreground is a bird perched on the surrounding frame.

Black and white digital comic of Vash and Wolfwood from Trigun Maximum, 12 pages. First page, Wolfwood is speaking to an offscreen innkeeper: "We won't cause any trouble, so let us stay the night, please?" Innkeeper: "Hmm.. Alright, fine. But only tonight, got that?" Wolfwood: "Yer a lifesaver, thanks!" Meanwhile, Vash is next to him, staring at Wolfwood. Wolfwood turns back to Vash, now with the room key in hand: "C'mon, let's head up." Vash, startled: "Right..." Next panel shows them outside the room, their backs to the camera as Wolfwood mumbles, "Keys..." as he opens the door. Vash is sneaking glances at Wolfwood. Next panel, they walk into the room, Wolfwood taking vocal notes, "Hey, 's not a bad size. Bed's kinda small, but 's for a night anyway..." The camera focuses on Vash's slightly troubled expression as he continues to glance over at Wolfwood.

Vash is quiet while he looks to Wolfwood and Wolfwood, noticing, says questioning: "What are ya doin' just standin' there? Settle in." Vash responds again: "Right..." The text now goes into Vash's thoughts as Vash finally moves further into the room with more clear troubled expression. Text: Is he not going to bring it up..? Was it really an one time thing? If I knew that was the case... No, in the first place... I shouldn't had done it. It still feels wrong to have that kind of affection. Even worse since it's Wolf-" His thoughts are cut off by Wolfwood halting his movements physically, having grabbed Vash by the collar and pulling him back to be near Wolfwood. Wolfwood looks at Vash with an unimpressed look while Vash yelps a "Uwah?!" in surprise.
