Lady Audley's Secret by Mary Elizabeth Braddon

12. very very good. a delicious mystery story, beautifully written. the "secret" is made clear fairly early, but the book deals with how the secret might be revealed and what will happen if it is. satisfying conclusion, though the ending was a little abrupt - would have liked more mess.
