I am so love with this bouquet from my garden 😍😍😍😍 the colors!!! It makes me so happy
Also, that tulip that I took the individual picture of looks like what you’d imagine a tulip to look like.

My mom would have LOVED my bouquet I made this morning. All yellow, with a bit of orange (her two favorite colors)
Garden is really blooming! There are going to be a LOT of tulips soon. I sort of forgot how many bulbs I planted 😆
Lovely walk today! Mid-50s and sunny, lots of birds including some wood ducks! And so many pretty wildflowers!
Happy Easter!

In love with my spring bouquet from my garden 😍
First bouquet of the year!!
No Kings Northbrook!
Penny’s favorite thing… the Doggy Easter Egg Hunt!!!
A few from Garfield Park Conservatory
Saturday was absolutely beautiful weather! I ended up going for two different walks, and had these purple crocuses popping up!
A few highlights from the last week… Emmett choir concert, Emmett and Stella band concerts, escape room! We did it in 50 minutes!
Chicago River was looking beautiful today! A bunch of geese, which I got a picture of as they took off.
Also some time to read and have a cup of tea, then I had to go to work, but after work was lovely gifts from the kids, Seth & other family, a yummy Reese’s ice cream cake (look at the candle action shot Stella got), and a little bit of Mario Party mini-games as a family. Lots of my favorite things:)
I had a lovely birthday on monday! I had a great snuggly nap with Penny, lunch with Seth, a walk outside that included beautiful snowy trees, a great blue heron, lots of other birds including a huge flock of red-breasted merganser, which I love because of their cool hairdos lol …. 1 of 2
Emmett had several events this weekend - choir and band IGSMA festivals, and a tae kwon do tournament

For my birthday date with Seth I hemmed and hawed about what I wanted to do, but in the end, I really just wanted the cheese again 😆 This is the 5 course cheese tasting paired with wine and charcuterie at Beautiful Rind. I did it last year and I’d be happy doing it for every birthday going forward 😆
Anyway, theatre is amazing because it’s truly a living art form. And Hamilton continually astounds me with its exceptional artistry on every level. 3/3
And a FABULOUS acting choice; during the Lawrence interlude it seems so contrived that Alexander asks Eliza to read the letter, but this time, the actor patted his vest pocket like HE WAS LOOKING FOR HIS GLASSES and that’s why he needed Eliza to read it! It made it so intentional 2/3
