Been fighting for 2 mos & counting... If I gave up, or hadn't documented contract terms & trade-in process, that'd be $1000 gone & free money for Verizon. Instead, I get to follow-up repeatedly to get them to honor their own contract.

Feels like a war of attrition is baked into the business model.

Never ceases to amaze me how much effort is required to get companies to stick to their contractual promises. Health insurance is an obvious extreme example, but it's everywhere. I traded in a phone to Verizon and they just zeroed out my $1000 credit. No explanation.

I'm approaching the start of another lap around the sun (aka my birthday). I've never been big on celebrating myself, but I'd love to hear how others have celebrated their birthdays in meaningful ways.

Every company should include the ability to disavow emails, i.e. report as incorrect & unsubscribe, in their user flow by default.

The amount of misdirected emails I get w/ strangers’ data is nuts. And mostly from no-reply emails. 🤦‍♂️
