Watch his legs! He’s walking in the stroller. Those legs moved the whole time. #CorgiCrew

Always!

He drags his back legs behind him. Front legs are still great! I’ll try to get a video later. We use the Help Em Up harness for potty breaks. He gets time in the wheelchair, but it’s not his favorite.

A construction worker down the street commented, “I didn’t know this was that kind of neighborhood.” 😂

Weekend walk. I need a sign that says “I’m paralyzed, not bougie.” I always get comments. 😂 #CorgiCrew

He’s okay. Still fighting the staph infection. His DM is progressing. His bark has changed. Makes me so sad. He’s getting frustrated that he can’t get around as easily anymore.

Update: they see no signs of an active ear infection. They’re wondering if some water got in it from his latest bath and it’s just irritating him. They’re giving us an ear wash, but no antibiotics.

7:20 AM. Taking Grady into MedVet. He woke up shaking his head uncontrollably. He’s whining and miserable. I’m hoping it’s just an ear infection. I’m so grateful to work for a wonderful school and admin who scrambled to find a sub for me this morning so I wouldn’t have to go in.

Thank you. We are still fighting the skin issues. New spots keep showing up. It’s a constant routine of baths, foam, and spray. He’s not really bothered though. I have noticed his bark sounds different in the last few days - hoarser - which is a sign the DM is progressing. 😩☹️

Grady is 9 today! Happy Birthday to my sweet boy. He has handled every challenge life has thrown at him (and there have been many!) like a champ! He is always happy and smiling!

How sweet! His GFM link is still active. We’ve spent all raised so far on medical bills.

Grady’s test results all came back. Thyroid levels are normal and the growth is benign! 🙌🏻
His skin is starting to look better and no new spots have developed! 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Somewhat. I’ve been sick for almost 3 weeks and lost my voice. I’m finally starting to feel better. Working on crochet and reading.

The dermatologist was at the same place that his oncologist is. The girl at the desk called the oncology department to let them know that he was there. His favorite tech came out to see him and bringing him some treats. He was so happy to see her!

We tested for that and tested a bump that has come up on his head. We’ll get those results next week. If we don’t see improvement in a few weeks, he wants to go back to the amikacin shots.

*Please share our link. Every little bit helps! Thanks!

$800 dermatologist visit today! 😩 Staph infection still not gone. He recommended as many baths as we can do (daily if possible) with the chlorhexidine shampoo (we got some stronger). He thinks it may be an underlying thyroid issue that is causing him to be susceptible to the infection.
