Academia is brutal. I have an idea which has failed to secure funding on FOUR occasions. I feel I have let an entire generation of people living with #HIV down.
I cannot seem to convince funders a database of electroinc health records can be used to explore how #PLWH engage with GPs.🤷

I went on a cycling trip around villages and small towns in Rajasthan one year. All the kids would come out of their schools and lessons to wave and say hello and we took photos together. We were a curiosity and made their day.

That's frustating. I am always hopeful that good ideas will get funded eventually. There is also an element of luck who you are up against!

Got past Stage 1 but stumbled at the final hurdle! 😭😭😭
Will wait for feedback and see what there is to improve to convince a panel to fund this project.
