The cyberattack on The British Library in October 2023 knocked out ebooks and almost ever other computer thing there for years.
Ebooks just came back. They were knocked out everywhere using the BLβs license (legal deposit libraries I think? More libraries?)
Distributed physical copies matter.

A fluffy brown bird snuggled up napping in the sun with its beak tucked under its wing.
Finally went to Bryant Park to see the woodcocks and it was so cute and wholesome. A huge crowd of people there to watch the lil floof, all chatting. A beautiful communal NY experience.
I didn't get to see it dance but it was a really lovely day-off activity
