which now that i say it out loud not a lot of the things i post here fall into those categories but i can't think of another justification. I'm sorry dave

i just dont think it would make an image that is "pleasant" or "good to look at"
i like tumblr's system because even if something i post isn't like. sexual or gory or something i can flag it so only adults who have opted in can see it, and then if it DOES contain something specific like that i can specify. bsky's labels seem really arbitrary and non-encompassing
yeah no that's stupid too like it seems like. a really obvious category. and the fact that you can't add ANY content labels here unless there's an image? because text can't be sexual, i guess
i don't like the bluesky content labels if i want to label my stuff as for adults i do just have to label it as explicitly sexual. i like how on tumblr you can just press "mature" and it doesn't have elaboration beyond that unless you want to
a drawing of caroline, a human woman, turning into a fennec fox. her hands and feet turn into little paws, a tail emerges and starts to grow fur, and her face lengthens into a snout.
fennec!caroline- one of her standing with her glasses hanging off her face, and one of peter holding and petting her.
ohhhh caroline fennec ohhhhhhhhhh and she's cute and you can pet her. but watch out! bites you bites you bites y #transfur #tf #transformation

hey,. dont post pictures of me
Six-step sequence showing a young man transforming into a two-headed protogen taur after putting on a suspicious LED visor. Image 1: Our protagonist looking at a black, glossy protogen visor in his hands. Image 2: Our protagonist has put on the visor. A pair of rotund paws are bursting out of his shoes while a dark-blue tail made up of a floating liquid material is pushing its way out the back of his jeans. Image 3: Our protagonist is trying to pull off the visor while his body continues to change. A pair of small paws protrudes from his abdomen. Image 4: Our protagonist's lower body stretches out into a large, fluffy protogen taur shape while a second head grows out of his neck. His tail has taken on the form of a large blob of dark blue fluid dotted with sparkling stars. Image 5: Our protagonist undergoes the last few stages of his transformation, arching his back and growing his body out to full size. Image 6: Our protagonist in his final form, a two-headed protogen taur with a massive tail partially comprised of floating, dark blue liquid dotted with small, star-like sparkles. One of his heads is looking around timidly while the other one is playfully sticking out its tongue.

TERRIFYING
t,hats crazy
righttt??? like their wings are SOOOO weird with the elongated wrist being an entire new limb section......and the wing finger......and they have big long funny necks
looking at fig and i's Big List Of Fursonas the only pterosaurs that got assigned were rhamphorynchus for randy and arambourgiania for dave. idk if rhamphorynchus is the vibe im going for im feeling more a pteranodont or azhdarchid. and ill be honest: I dont want to draw tf of dave very much i think
i want to turn SOMEBODY into a pterosaur. that sounds like so much fun
oh nevermind there it goes the one i did like DAYS ago just arrived. i guess i just cant turn off moderation for the images and manual review takes a long time
entirely positive for the subject, that's always fun. & interesting re: your blorbos i also wonder why that is!
of course, & awww thank you so much for the kind words!!! im glad you like my stuff :] the comfort aspect is absolutely there for me as well, both in terms of what the person is turning into or receiving comfort from the people around them mid- or post-tf. & things looking freaky while being
AS for why so much of my stuff is dt it's just that it's my favorite thing right now. i'd much rather draw and think about tf of a character i love than a sona, generic/anonymous character, or something like that. basically: i like to play with Blorbo
and its like. brother bear was one of a handful of movies i watched on repeat, the KND episode where they all got turned into animals was my favorite, my favorite goosebumps book was the werewolf of fever swamp. ITS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS
idk there's more but that's some of it. ive always loved the topic and its only in the last few years ive really let myself get into expressing that publicly since it's something i've always felt kind of embarrassed about. but like, you look at my favorite childhood movies/tv episodes/books
and with dealing with physical & mental changes there's also the idea of someone alongside the person being changed, like a partner helping someone through a painful transformation or like. oliver feeding swan-randy pieces of popcorn while not knowing that's randy. funnie
there's also something in the concept of someone becoming ENTIRELY an animal, like the whole identity-death losing human cognition thing? it's not something i've thought about too much but it's kind of scary to me, in a fun way.
i don't touch on it much in my own work (partly because it's a difficult thing to express visually) but there are parts of mental changes that i like. animal instincts, animal senses, that sort of thing. someone becoming a carnivore and having the urge to hunt, for example.
there's also a lot about thinking about the physical experience of that character being an animal. for the peter one again, he slowly has to make the swap from plantigrade biped to digitigrade quadruped. i like the concept of people having to adapt to an entirely new body
see also: those peter-dragon long-term tfs i did a while back. starts with itching, he scratches the itch, eventually his skin gives way and sloughs off to reveal scales underneath. it's freakyyyy
body parts stretching out and warping (especially hands), and bits that look kinda wrong (why i was excited to do a horse tf for that karen image- horse hooves being a single finger/toe make the process of turning into one look weird and a little unsettling).
there's the actual like, physical aspects. like i have a very big penchant for yucky body horror- ie the thing is one of my favorite movies- and that's something you really get to play with. i think the best tf images are ones that are a little bit scary! i like drawing stretching/ripping skin,
but i dunno. there's a lot of ASPECTS i like but i'm not 100% sure i could tell you WHY i like them. i obviously have a big bias towards people turning into animals. like, i'll take the occasional human->anthro for the fun of it but i find it to be just a bit less appealing
