Has anyone checked in on @siracusa.social

I find that it’s working again on this past Monday’s 26.4 DB
Thanks John!
@gruber.foo hey John, I believe you mentioned in the last few months a shortcut that takes the URL of a Safari page and adds it to a “Things of Interest” note, with headers for month/date, etc. Could you share that shortcut?
Reading this and I can’t help but be reminded of when I began to fall in love with DC—not during college (I commuted locally)—but during a dozen or so trips down with my uncle as a kid.
As a “yankee” from NJ I hope to soon have a similar story to your own: move to the DMV and fall in love with it.
Dare I say, an omen?
Up on 17 north?
What wonderful photos Greg!
You have my number 👀
@steeber.bsky.social This should pique your interest. Looks like they put a lot of effort in to get as close of a match as possible.

Let us not forget “Biden The Rails: 101 Poems Inspired By My Travels Along Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor”
@snell.zone @myke.social for years I’ve had these saved for just the right moment. And that moment is now.
Waterllama?
I think it does both. I just got an email from a 10 miler lottery I entered. It’s categorized under the Updates tab, and while it wasn’t important enough for Apple Intelligence to mark as Priority, it did show up under Primary as an “alert/update”. I cleared it and it still shows up under Updates.
It clears Follow Up (16+) and/or new update suggestions (18.2+) from your main/Primary inbox. If you use Mail Categorization, you might get a new email categorized as a Transaction, and it’s important, but not important enough for AI to label as Priory. So Clear removes that from the Primary inbox.
Greg, do you know of any easy way to view “all photos take on this (the given MM/DD) day”?
My workaround so far has been to search by the current Month/Date, but I’m looking for an easier way to see all photos taken on the current date.
I feel like so much of our politics can be explained by the fact that Daniel Perry is hanging out with Trump and Vance, while the liberal establishment is flummoxed by Luigi Mangione’s appeal.
What a wonderful time last night meeting you both, but better yet, seeing Kino get the recognition it deserved.
This is surprisingly common when outsiders visit DC. They book flights thinking that they’re flying into Reagan, right across the Potomac, but actually book their flight to Dulles, which is 40-50 minutes away in Virginia.
Everyone wants the dad bod and yet no one is impressed by my dad jokes. It’s a very unfair world we live in.
My go-to line every single time my dentist asks if I’ve been flossing is “C’mon, let’s not do this thing where I say ‘Yes, of course’ and then you take a look and go ‘You really should be flossing’ and I say ‘Ok, I will.’ Can we both simply accept the fact that it’ll likely never happen?”
Lest we forget their cringey Apple Music singalong during WWDC16 youtu.be/GjNExIQmNOE?...
David, while you’re on the SWE side, do you know if WPC has dedicated marketing and comms roles, too? They don’t necessarily have to be open—I’m just curious if WPC has its own dedicated marketing/PR teams (so I can keep an eye out in the future).
Mostly on my Mac at work, yes
I’m sitting here at the coffee shop, waiting for everyone in my running group to show up, and I’m sitting at a table with four college kids.
Each one is using a Mac—and damn it’s putting a smile on my face.
Lucille is that you?
Derek ❤️
I hate that I immediately opened News to see if anything else crazy happened in the last few hours
Not for the hundreds of thousands of people who 1) ski and 2) use an iPhone or Watch
