Thinking more about this, I’m struck by just how likely — if not inevitable— it feels that the Dems would absolutely allow Trump to seat a new SCOTUS justice in the final two years of his term despite the precedent the Republicans set. Horrible feeling.

Democrats MUST win the Senate back in November. And if we do, no whining, second-guessing, and self-flagellating if a justice dies or retires during Trump‘s last two years in office. Dems need to block a new Trump Supreme Court appointment.

Liar. Stop lying. Just because we didn’t attack the 1 person standing between us and another Trump presidency doesn’t mean we didn’t care.

Remember how y’all interrupted every Harris or Biden public event? Why aren’t you interrupting Trump and Republican rallies, happening now?

We have lost our ability to enforce our laws or the Constitution against Trump. The coup is complete. Dem leadership apparently has more important things to do than stand together and fight Trump. It is up to the American people to rise up and restore democracy.

He still needs to be removed from office. A war powers resolution will not suffice. He circumvented Congress to start the war. He circumvented them on tariffs and appropriations. Why anyone thinks he'd adhere to a Congressional war powers resolution is beyond me.

The media told us, based on the amount of coverage they devoted to it, that the number one military-related issue of the 2024 campaign was whether Tim Walz retiring from the National Guard after 21 years was too soon or not.
