With the VA yes vote, Democrats will emerge with +1 House seat in the redistricting wars Trump kicked off last summer. They are very, very likely to win back the House in November

Don’t be surprised if Trump suggests the Virginia redistricting vote was rigged, because that’s what he does when he loses close votes. Of course, Trump pushed Texas to redistrict without even consulting the voters.

With the result in Virginia, here's what we know about how mid-decade redistricting has shifted the landscape.

Across the 7 states with new maps:
—11 districts have shifted toward Democrats;
—9 districts have shifted toward the GOP.
