Peter Baldwin, from East Cleveland. I think he refereed an FA Cup semi final in 1966.
He died around 2001 aged 71. It is claimed had a refereeing career for nearly 50 years, but he refereed in the 1st Division for 10 seasons from 64 to 74.

Harsh.
Perspective.
When people were congratulating me weeks ago for Ars winning the PL, I was urging caution; we can't predict what will happen tomorrow. Plus, our injury record is double platinum.
Now, I still hold the same view. The pressure is on City as much as it is on Arsenal. Let's see.
If there was a point in this post, I'm struggling to see it.
That summarises matters most succinctly.
Nobody? That's very definitive.
I don't agree with that, Ben.
I, for one, was very happy for Liverpool at the time. Most people I know felt the same.
I suppose anyone's perception largely depends on who they are exposed to.
Completely got it wrong today, unfortunately…..
I think it's Ray Chadwick?
Completely. A very famous image.
Great photos, Ken.

This is terrible news. So young. Alex Manninger contributed much to Arsenal FC.
You got me thinking - I’ve been watching some 50 years.
Oh dear….
City didn’t get to the semis, did they now? 😌
0-0 is the new 1-0 to the Arsenal.
I'd take a set piece, myself.
Is that the same Semenyo that Man City should have been banned from signing?
Madueke is a disappointment.
Rice must be carrying an injury.
Ok. I'm very civically minded.
Gyokeres isn't good enough for this team. He can't hold the ball up; his anticipation is non existent and his mobility is seriously questionable.
A waste of money really.
I wonder if I post one of my "Gyokeres is not good enough for this team" posts, will he do what he normally does in such circumstances and score?
And any technical players that we do have are either half injured or fully so
If only we had a young Bergkanp.
Merino is a big miss to this team.
Best of luck for the future. Well done on such a long tenure.

Hi Amy, excellent pod I think you hit the nail firmly on the head with your remarks regarding both the number of games played and overall fitness levels of the Arsenal squad.
It is clear to me that Arteta has a relentless and intense style that, in itself, is exhausting.
Was driving today for several hours, so I missed this today, Ken. Sorry.
Agree; however, if the entire competition is tainted due to a participant or participants who, do not act in accordance with the sporting rules, go on to act with impunity given that no meaningful sanction is applied for such contraventions, I would suggest this context is key to everything else.
I do agree that Arsenal seem to be playing to a disciplined, rigid structure.
That said, we really cannot get away from the appalling injury record Arsenal have endured. It is very hard to develop consistent, free flowing football when you cannot consistently field a best 11.
@katie0martin.ft.com - this would be in accordance with the general experience of Greens who have come to power in coalitions in either Ireland or other parts of Europe. Generally, they are very quick to tax (carbon taxes are a favourite) & while well intentioned, some policy choices aren't green.
I’m glad you cleared that up 😀
Lord Lucan, on the other hand, has questions to answer. 🙂
Will it sell Parkside?
