I a couple of pairs of hard sole shoes that had for years and they have been resolved many times. One thing I notice when wearing them is the sound they make and how absent it is in daily life where most people wear soft sole shoes.

I was out walking Alicia this morning and saw a large group of middle schoolers walking together accompanied by a car and followed by police on bicycles. When I asked what was going on they replied by saying they were having a walk out to protest Trumps policies.

On our walk along the American River this morning we realized that the river level was down enough that Beaver Trail was above the waterline. True to its name we saw new signs of beaver activity along with previous ones that were easier to see after being submerged.
