Rob, pretty sure channel 53 picked up SNL for some of those years. I recall SCTV airing at 11:00pm and SNL afterwards.

Pre merger the Steelers played in Cleveland on Saturday nights. I found them both playing on 10/18/1969, Steelers losing to the Browns 42-31. PSU beat Syracuse 15-14.
