It really is, such a beautiful sight. We don’t really have fields like that where I live, unfortunately. I think they’re much more common in the UK❤️

Thank you, Shirley, that’s so kind of you. I’m feeling a bit better, slowly. The picture is beautiful, I’d love to walk through that field of poppies right now!🥰
I hope you’re doing well too.💕🌸

I like it too. My daughter is currently on holiday in Seoul and went to a concert today. She’s over the moon! I’m so happy for her! 😍❤️

Thank you, Martin, that’s very kind of you. I’m taking things slowly at the moment due to some health issues, so I really appreciate it.
Wishing you all the best as well. x

That’s so kind of you, thank you. I’m taking a longer break to focus on my health and slow things down a little. I hope to share again when the time feels right. Take care!💛

Thank you! Yes, the view stretches so far. The colours in the distance were beautiful that day. It’s a very special place for me😊

Thank you so much, Florence! And you’re absolutely right, sometimes we just need to step back a little. I truly appreciate your kindness and your thoughtful words 🤍

Hi Florence! Thank you for checking in, that’s very kind of you. I’m not very active at the moment as I haven’t been feeling too well lately, but I'll try to stay in touch here when I can. I hope better times will come soon💛

I can totally understand Alfie. I was very careful walking across the limestone pavement too. Those gaps definitely make you watch every step. But the view from up there is absolutely breathtaking, both across the landscape and over the impressive limestone pavement itself😍

Thank you, Mick! Almost. But since I almost died after climbing the steps to the limestone pavement (😅) we decided to skip Gordale Scar. An absolutely wonderful walk. This sign at the top of Malham Cove saved me, not because I needed help, but because it made me feel seen😄

“Janet’s Foss” is a beautiful small waterfall hidden in woodland near the village of Malham, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The name comes from local legend. “Janet” was believed to be a fairy queen said to live behind the falls.
A magical little spot✨

As a German, I probably find the milder Merseyside accent easier to understand than a strong one. But I love listening to them all. Other British accents as well, though yours is the one I like most.

I really love your accent. The melodic intonation makes it sound like music to my ears. I could listen to you (Liverpudlians) talk for hours🥰

The loveliest accent of all!😍

I’ve never been to the Yorkshire Wolds, but I have visited other parts of Yorkshire. “Magical” really is the right word for this landscape. And if I can’t live there myself, I’m happy to enjoy it through your photos, which are always beautiful and uplifting. Thank you, James!

A lovely short and frosty Sunday walk. No one asked me, but it looks like snow is on the way again tomorrow. Wishing you all a restful Sunday!🤍

That sounds wonderful! I’m actually in the middle of rereading them as well and watching some of the film adaptations again.😊
