Pencil drawing of a 'Drake-Kin' - a humanoid reptile looking figure, cradling a sword on it's shoulder
a Pencil drawing of a 'Grudge-KIn' - a dwarf-type figure, encased in a cloak made up of scales of harder material. Only it's bare head and feet are showing, it's eyes are quite small compared to the rest of the fac features
A 'Sheppard' magi, dressed in robes and surrounded by floating rocks. He holdsa an oddly shaped staff that could be a weapon
A sloe-stepper, standing on a tilted edge of a plastik-berg. Looks a bit like a fish man, with mottled skin, spear in one arm, and what looks like a mouldering sea-drone under the other arm. Wears a ragged loincloth and bandolier.

Well, as it's #PortfolioDay, it's a good day to say I am currently looking for work. Get in touch if you are looking for art for your game, book, #ttrpg, #card game etc.
Thats a lot of dirt!
Some early test stuff from our 'chill out' mode. No pressure, no objectives, no time limits, just have fun carving clean lines through the grime.

A poster, built in Blender, showing the industrial Funicular from the Manga, Akira.
My illustration, Elk Island Light. An orange lighthouse floats on the ocean, at its base, tentacles extend in to the deep.
My illustration, Deep Space Fleet. A page of brightly coloured spaceship sketches.
My illustration, ISO Grid. 16 isometric illustrations of various little buildings. From a sci-fi noodle bar, to a Venetian palazzo.
I'm Rob, an illustrator, designer, and writer from the UK. With a background in graphic design, I now spend my time drawing spaceships, robots, and other strange stuff - either for myself or for indie games and publishers.

Super nice!
Hey some new (kinda old) 3D! 😆
Of my space corvette (or Light Frigate), I modified a few things from the 2D version. Still WIP but almost there I think! :d

VERY COOL PERSON: It's four-twenty, you know what that means?
ME: Hell yeah! [starts shoving blackbirds into a pie]
Happy Birthday fella. I hope it's a good one.
Next Monday is my 49th orbit through space. Yay me...
Rather than buy me a card or another sword (I know you had picked one out for me), I'd love for Dead Beats to hit 250 in sales. Its at 241 at the moment and that number is annoying.

I hate Al and I refuse to use it Peter, if you don't use Al a bunch of super rich men will lose a lot of money I already said I hated Al Harry, you don't need to sell it to me
Will be giving one of these away on the @machinefun.bsky.social account.
They are quite big! Around 26cm long, working lights too. Follow for details on how to enter.
Just a self portrait of me and my dog. It's a cartoon basically. I am bald with a beard and glasses, and she is grey and furry wire fox terrier

a vintage Indonesian sticker of "Jean Picard" from Star Trek
Ok, this week has started incredibly well as we've just stumbled across a website that collects, curates & archives "vintage Indonesian labels and stickers – presenting the archipelago’s lavish visuals and their significance as knowledge and reference materials."

Six of Marsh's fabulously and sinister character illustrations for GOLD TEETH. Eighteenth century hats and wigs abound.
Six non-player characters designed by Marsh Davies, each set within a picture frame reflecting their demeanour. Meet them on the high seas, and in low places in GOLD TEETH.
A port on an island where things are not going smoothly for the powers that be.
Hey, so we recently posted these extremely fine maps and character designs by @marshdavies.bsky.social in an update for our GOLD TEETH backers.
Might as well do the same here, because you can still pre-order: www.kickstarter.com/projects/149... Our pirate RPG book should absolutely not be missed!
Digital painting. A Dreamcatcher readies his equipment in a city backstreet
Dreamcatcher
Two city sized spaceships floating in front of a red planet and just behind an asteroid field.
Two MASSIVE starships in space. Yellow coloured background with some space rocks floating in between the viewer and the shiips.
Two blue city sized ships heading upawards above a a golden oloured planetary ring system.
More space rocks, this time in a blue space with two huge starships.
Space ! Super size me. I'm a huge fan of city sized ships be they Colony movers, Battleships, Arkships (and yes GSVs). Impractical ? Probably, but undeniably cool and great story devices. Some #Lightwave3d renders of Skynet3020 & Simon-3d's models found on Renderosity. #Scifi #ScifiArt
Nobody seems to be mentioning that Boris Johnson failed his security vetting and Theresa May still made him Foreign Secretary. Then the Tory members made him Prime Minister still without clearance. Conveniently forgotten by the media and by the Tories who are calling for Starmer’s resignation.
A photo of my gran.
Went to see my gran today, she's 97, and in a care home. Somedays, it's really tough. She'll refuse to get out of bed or she'll just want to sleep, or she'll say she's had enough.
Today however, she was bright and sprightly. Smiling and making jokes. A really good visit.

I love you all.
Please do not call my work whimsical. There is nothing whimsical here. I am not filled with whimsy when I work. Every piece is me screaming out to live in another world. 😭

Ah thanks so much. Blender was a real struggle for me, couldn’t get far at all… and then managed to get to a decent level pretty quick. Now… very much a plateau!

Maybe try a £500m investment in creators instead?
Just a thought.
£20k each to 25,000 people.
Or £10k to 50,000, I’m not fussy.
