Blunder is putting it mighty generously.

It's incredible that you can just say "this is not a publicity stunt" and then do an obvious publicity stunt, and that is news now.
When I was younger, I was taught about the cold war.
We were told about the general anxiety literally everyone was under at the time about the possible end of the world and I remember really not getting it.
Well, I get it now. I hope our future generations never have to.
Greta Thunberg "WTF is anyone even doing at this point, we have normalized Genocide and the eradication of an entire people."
Greta is right as usual.
Saw the same thing on CNN in the US. Genuinely unbelievable.
The UK's military is really good ๐
So glad we cut spending on welfare, education and social mobility so we could afford to keep running these death machines... which don't even work.
In fairness, it's not like its their dispensing department's entire job to not forget and to issue prescriptions...
Oh, wait.
Have they said anything new on this?
It's now been 3 hours since our supposed "ally" Donald Trump threatened genocide on a country of 93 million people.
We've had absolutely nothing from the UK government.
This doesn't come in a vacuum either - every day the US & Israel have been murdering innocent people.
And realistically they only did it as a cheap win to avoid having to face the Trump shaped elephant in the room today...
You know what? I'll admit it. The credible threat by a madman to wipe out a nation of 90 million people for basically no reason (presumably using nuclear weapons) successfully distracted me. I am now distracted.
Ok, cool, so she's been in Labour since last time they did an illegal war in the Middle East? Didn't leave in disgust then and didn't leave in disgust now. Great track record then.
Fantastic.
I am not angry at Trump anymore. He is beyond redemption.
I am angry at everyone around him who enable this and refuse to call it out. People in his Government, people in *our* Government. The media, the electorate. Why aren't we decrying this?
We are sleepwalking into atrocity after atrocity.
Challenge Level: Impossible.
I describe getting my regular prescription from the GP as a game of Russian Roulette.
Every. Single. Time. there's some new question, or administrative hiccup, or the prescription just gets straight up ignored until I chase it.
Such fun!
It's her party and the rest of us will cry if we want to.
No no, haven't you heard? She said something vaguely not-terrible about trans people a few years ago, so now she's absolved from all responsibility for all the horrors her Government is inflicting against trans people.
(/sarcasm)
Who could have guessed this was all about that thing that literally every US war is about, and what Trump himself is constantly going on about and often refers to as "black gold"?
This will - I am sure - inexplicably come as a complete surprise to our journalists and media classes.
I am fairly confident historians will call this period of human history a dark age for so many reasons.
I am just hoping our renaissance comes soon and it is glorious.
"I can see why people got excited about it in the 1960s, back when the world was young"
The political and journalistic class in this country have given up on imagination, on hope, on humanity itself.
They have slumped into a morbid status quo and lash out at any thought of exploration or wonder.
I wish she would.
Who cares? When push comes to shove she's supporting this genocidal government. Whether that's because she actually agrees or just because she's a coward and wants to save her own job, does it really make a difference if the outcome is the same?
Shame on her and the rest of that rotten party.
That button jacket looks hella dapper. I love it. ๐
Ah yes, that totally not imperialistic sentiment: telling the locals to leave if they have a problem with a foreign military.
Tell me, does the clown makeup come free from the US or do they make you buy that yourself?
I am outraged that this exists ๐
Joke thieves! ๐
I'm part of the local community that the Lakenheath is near.
Let me say this clearly: USAF can fuck right off.
Two frames from Disney's Pirate's of the Caribbean. In the both frames two well dressed English Naval officers are standing aboard a ship looking at something. Frame one: "That's got to be the best form name validation I've ever seen." Frame two: "So it would seem."
