Sad to hear today of the death of Alan Osmond. During much of the Osmonds' career, Alan, being the oldest of the group, was the band's creative leader, playing piano & guitar, co-writing many of their songs with Merrill, co-producing most of their recordings & arranging the choreography. #AlanOsmond

Especially since that sentence structure is way too complex, yet still coheisve, for the Master of The Weave.

It's been wild here--very changeable. Is it the same over there? We had hot days, then thunderstorms and tornadoes, then a drop in temperature culminating in a freeze warning (it dropped to 29F (-1C). All within a week.

Dried? Boil first, then maybe roast some for snacks. The rest, I might try making some kind of burger or bean loaf; would have to find some good recipes first. I think you can also make some nice stews with them.

So so. Sleep all messed up again--two nights of minimal sleep. I feel way too good--probably means I'm to tired to feel how tired I am, lol. Otherwise okay. Good weather, and both husband and I are starting to feel a bit better physically.

Maybe even be a good therapist in the long run, if the advocacy results in a marked improvement in living conditions. It might be that getting to that better place helps build trust and also make it easier to do the therapy stuff. If not, at least you will have given it a try and can move on +

Agree. At least they get to hear some pushback. As far as I know? the only other person regularly doing that is Jessica Tarlov.
It's important that people who have their head immersed in those lies every single day, hear facts and intelligent counter-arguments.

There is the obvious reason, and then there's the other reason I suspect is also true. Erika likes the attention and her business empire thrives on it. Helen does not.

(and even a few Dems) believed Republicans. Why bother again? With the current numbers in Congress, they can't even get simple legislation passed. There's no way they're going to impeach and convict.

1). There are several Dems calling for impeachment.
2). If the majority are afraid, (more like realistically discouraged) it's because they already tried twice, impeachment failed, and what did they get out of it? Republicans accused them of partisan politics, swing voters +

Congrats to the leakers who talked to the Atlantic; they found a way to keep him busy for days.

Do they have to go to acting school to say this stuff with a serious voice and straight face, or are they so devoid of conscience they think they're actually being reasonable? I don't care how lucrative it is, most of the people I know couldn't possibly sell that nonsense.

Lol. Enjoy!
Anyway, we're so far past worrying about that at this point. They've flooded the world with so much tackiness, yours would look quaint by comparison.

He might have an interest if it can help him figure out who talked to The Atlantic. Can they be subpoenad?

Enbridge wants permits to build a reroute that will cross four streams in Northern WI. This is not only dangerous to the wildlife & water in the area, but they don't even have rights to the property that they'd need in order to apply for the permits. Learn more & let the WI DNR know your thoughts!

If only there were a way to make him believe that the sooner he leaves, the more we'll idolize him.

If this is even true (that site lies), they AIPAC is not getting their money's worth.
As far as I can tell, he's voted against military aid to Israel at least 3 times since Nov 2024.
You should be extra happy with Ossoff, because they're probably pretty pissed at him by now.

Starting to feel very smug about all those seeds I've been too lazy to plant.

Exactly. That's the other reason some people think Republicans don't insult their own--it mostly happens up until the primaries. After that, Republican voters famously fall in line.

The no permission part boggles my mind, US condo-dweller that I am. No hope of getting any relief from those restrictions right now, but fingers crossed for near future when energy prices are out of control.

100%. I don't know why I bother pointing it out (because any excuse to trot out conspiracy theories will do for many people) but Trump being worried about how it looked on TV is perfectly consistent with a malignant narcissist who was also extremely lucky to be only slightly injured.

Charges against whistleblower Courtney Williams have nothing to do with national security FPF statement on charges against source who spoke to journalist Seth Harp

The notion that an administration that casually posts genocide threats during its illegal wars is worried about national security risks from whistleblowers who expose sexual harassment is absurd.

DOJ Wants to Scrap Watergate-Era Rule That Makes Presidential Records Public Eliminating the Presidential Records Act would allow private actors to hold the keys to American history, forever.

By declaring the Presidential Records Act unconstitutional, the DOJ is effectively claiming the presidency has private ownership over the American story. It doesn't.

Lauren Harper's latest in @theintercept.com on why the DOJ's history killer memo can't stand:

They are morally bankrupt propagandists who might accidentally turn out to be right, and if they do, we are in a whole heap of trouble.
