Is it science? Perhaps, as nobody has included the part before (for good reason). Does it advance science? Absolutely not. Do people read the papers? Very few. Are the papers referenced? Rarely by someone outside China.

Well...I don't know about other areas, but within my area (fires underground) we have been flooded by chinese papers for years. They frequently build on earlier papers but with a small additional part added, but where the added part is totally uninteresting within the fire science field.

The more coverage I read of the 28-point trash plan, the more I’m reminded of this quote by Winston Churchill.
