The perfect way to celebrate THE MUPPET SHOW's 50th was to just do another episode.
And that's pretty much what Disney did w/ the new special. It doesn't try to too hard, which was the right call.
It's just the old school Muppets doing what made us love them in the first place. #TheMuppetShow

Josh D'Amaro is the new CEO of The Walt Disney Company, but Dana Walden's promotion may be the bigger deal. www.cinemablend.com/movies/the-d...
One last bit of #Halloween weekend fun. #sonicthehedgehog @sonic-official.bsky.social
I can’t believe how disappointed I am in Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe. It’s the most popular area in the park, crowded with families… and Universal put the park’s two lowest-capacity rides in it. 🤦🏻♂️
Now THIS is a step in the right direction for Hollywood Studios, a park meant to celebrate the art of making movies. I'm already excited to see this.
Stephen Colbert is a profoundly good and deeply talented man with a great staff and an excellent show. They all deserve better.
Curious about this one. Let’s see how it is. #Elio
I almost grabbed a pic of Papa Gino's. ALMOST.
That pizza is far more nostalgic to me than a lobster roll. 🍕
A New England specialty - the Lobster Roll!
Using food to show where I grew up.
This looks to be the reimagined scene that was once the brake test in Test Track 1.0 / OnStar in TT 2.0.
I wonder if this means we get two "near-miss" scenes in TT 3.0. No word yet on whether the semi truck in the tunnel survived the refurb.
"In World Discovery, a new comedic street show is now touring under the fictional “Florida Artificial Intelligence Laboratories,” or FAIL for short. The stars of the act are Miss Information, an act playing an advanced walk-around animatronic and her human lab assistant, Al Gorithm."
I love this.
It’s like losing a member of your family.
Something so close and special to your heart.
No matter what comes next, it just hurts.
Recent projects like this and the Haunted Mansion Parlor on DCL tell me that Disney really liked all the guest feedback from Trader Sam's.
Man. I've been thinking about, but if there was any property, franchise, whatever the heck, to be a kind of pure embodiment of the spirit of the Disney MGM Studios, it is The Muppets. All about putting on a show and the full wonder of the magic of show business.
The more I read about the Walt Disney audio-animatronic, the more excited I get for it. www.cinemablend.com/theme-parks/...
Aiming to see it in September, hopefully after a successful summer of avoiding spoilers from ride POVs 🤞
The entrance to iStation cool. Cast members are wearing ski jackets and there is a giant snow mover machine
A giant snow moving machine outside of the entrance to ice Station cool
A frozen body of a caveman in a Disney park. In this case the park is Epcot. He's all covered in snow and looking like he's a member of some'80s metal band
A cast member digging out the actual snow that was in the attraction
EPCOT Ice Station Cool appreciation post
I think about this game all the time! I had it on PC and Game Boy Color. On the latter, hearing 8-bit theme park music was surreal.
Man, I miss Vinylmation.
I was obsessed with the Park Starz series myself.
WDW announcing deals on deals on deals in response to Epic, we're gonna need Ezra Bridger to narrate the commercial.
A movie that takes place where you’re from...
I want a way to shut this "feature" off, and this only reinforces it. 🤦♂️
Did I quote this Simpsons bit during a show on the Disney Fantasy, earning myself the nickname "That Simpsons Guy" for the remainder of the cruise?
Yes. Yes I did. 🍔
To be fair, Magic Kingdom’s ride was jury-rigged onto 50+ year old ride system hardware and was genuinely a first of its kind.
As the story goes, WDI expected the spin to be the gimmick, not the guns (hence why later versions are called Astro Blasters with handheld guns) so this is overdue!
That said, this is going to be a nice upgrade. I'm excited for the new handheld blasters!
OF COURSE, this happens mere months after my first time earning Galactic Hero. Time to relearn everything I taught myself, I guess 🙃
Props to the photographer who captured Frankenstein Manor in the shadow of a storm cloud. What a nice touch.
I’m fairly new to DCL (did two sailings on the Disney Fantasy in the last year). My wife and I are now hooked. Excellent service, stellar entertainment, great food. Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay are both amazing.
I recommend trying an older ship first. They have more offerings for kids and adults. 🙂
This shows the role lighting plays in establishing theme.
Notice how Dark Universe is the most dimly lit of the five lands, and Super Nintendo World is the brightest. Very neat.
