Crucial thing you must do right now is strengthen and expand your community. Serve together. Try a new activity. See each other in person. Over on the other site I am continually struck by how the rabid intensity does not actually reflect community or connection. Only way we get through this.

What can you do?

Don’t give up hope. Dictators feed off your hopelessness.

Don’t quit. Dictators want you to give up.

Punch back. Dictators are bullies, and bullies are cowards.

Stay tethered to the truth. Dictators need you to believe their lies.

Resist. Stand with others.

Now’s the time to exercise your challenger muscle. Speak up, even when you’re unsure of yourself. Bring up the topics that throw a wrench in the gears of it all. Propose new ways of doing things. Take a deep breath and thoughtfully say the things that make you a little scared to voice them. 💪💪💪

Meet the couch that spontaneously generates pillows every now and then. One of the pillows has eyes. Everything’s ok. It’s definitely not getting out of hand.
