New Science Advances paper w/ Jennifer Candipan:

Racial change doesn’t just reshape neighborhoods, it reshapes school punishment. We show Black–White suspension disparities grow in places where Black populations are changing, especially in majority White, suburban, & rural areas.

The ASA IPM section is excited to launch our new participatory budgeting initiative where section members can propose new initiatives or projects that the full membership will then vote on. The IPM Section has dedicated $1,500 to be allocated across the proposed projects that receive the most votes by section members.
