While I disagree ab this particular deck being bad (Sugi is just so insane rn), I agree that Askanison feels like part of a mass psychosis. He can be replaced with almost any card. He's feels like a "winning card" b/c he's incentivising winning play patterns, like... trying to win lanes & get prio!😲

It's just a different font. L is often written more like this.

I tried to research it & couldn't figure much out. He had it in the Askani'son mini-series. It means 'wick' like from a candle, or can mean 'fuse,' like for a bomb. Probably there's some lost underlying symbolism the author or artist intended, but idk what . He's the fuse that sets everything off?
