Two 7ft steel struts run along each side underneath and stick out past each end. The hoverhog is suspended in the air by four chains connected to a central crossbar about 2ft above the board. The crossbar in turn is connected to an electric hoist in the ceiling. A sandbag on the crossbar allows for adjusting balance to an individual bondage subject on the board.
