Understood. And yes, definitely much kudos to the unrepped writers who placed.

In years past, I've known of a few writers who were unrepped but knew an assistant, who passed word to a boss and word of mouth spread that way. But I can also see a script on the site just garnering lots of attention and being nominated enough times to get on the list. Good for everyone!

There is no voting. Approved execs nominate a certain number (I think 10?) of scripts they think are list worthy. Those scripts are then aggregated by the number of mentions they get from those nominating members.

But that doesn't mean they were on the list *because* they did well on the site. They did well on the site and were then widely talked about, possibly disseminated as a download. Though I thought there was a mechanism for determining exactly which scripts count as being "taken out" to town.

No, it's just that someone with a connection sent the script around and got reads through word of (assistant) mouth. The site is entirely separate.

THE PITT: actual television, made in LA, on a yearly schedule. Well deserved! #Emmys

Shitty dialogue and VO. Just like Stephen Miller's failed screenwriting career, and Steve Bannon's.

Healthy people create works of art. Unhealthy people create evil.

But in the end, we all have to create

Protect the unborn babies so they can
- starve in poverty
- be abused in homes that didn't want them
- be shot in school, church, a mall, literally anywhere
- die from entirely preventable, painful illness.

Do I have that right?

If you're arrested in Illinois protesting the planned ICE HQ in North Chicago, I can represent you pro bono. Email me at sheryl@weikallaw.com. As always, I will take as many cases as I can.

I have many a pet peeve about LA culture but the dog owners here are absolute trash. Either their dogs are entirely unsocialized/untrained/unrestrained or they are anthropomorphized to absurdity, and still untrained.

My son would watch! He's currently obsessed with the Lilo and Stitch show from 20 yrs ago. We end ever bedtime with him describing that day's alien experiment.

I can confirm the PBS Passport is a very good deal for $5/month or $2.50/month if you do yearly.

Thousands of hours of top notch content. NOVA is great. The new Ken Burns doc on Leonardo da Vinci is excellent.
