Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

Ripley and Jack are ready for the weekend!
Our Everglades Book Fair is underway!
I hate when fantasy films I made a long time ago begin to come true in real life.
Jeff Bezos has $222 billion.
If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over.
And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.
When my daughter was little, we took her to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. From far away he looked wonderful. But then when we got up close, you could see the person inside the costume through the Easter Bunny's eyes. It looked like the Easter Bunny had eaten someone. She freaked out.
I'm so glad our president is such a good Christian with his inspirational Easter message to all of us.

"Are ICE agents trained for this?
ICE agents increasingly lack the necessary training **to be ICE agents,** and they definitely aren’t trained to work as TSA officials..."

Look, Ma. I made it in @PublishersWeekly! www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/...

It must be *infuriating* to TSA agents, who are NOT getting paid, to see lazy ICE agents, who ARE getting paid, lounging about the airport and doing nothing to help either them or passengers.
Post it in the bulletin board. You may never see it again!
Story from dexerto: Seven dogs stolen from their owners have gone viral after escaping their captors and making their way home The group is believed to have travelled around 17 km together led by a corgi across highways and fields
This is literally the only thing i have the bandwidth to read about today
I know this has circulated with alacrity recently, so you may have already seen it, but if you haven't... WOW BOY HOWDY it's the most useful thing.

"Renderings posted on social media “aren’t a plan,” he said. “When the President previewed his vision for a ballroom, he assured the public that the East Wing would remain untouched. Instead, it was completely demolished.”

Let there be as much outrage from politicians in Washington when kids go hungry as there is when I break bread with New Yorkers.
I can't even find the words to express how repugnant and despicable this post is.
People who spew such Islamophobic bile don't belong in the United States Congress. The job of elected officials is to combat hate, not fan its flames. (1/2)
Juniper Ophelia wishes you a Happy Friday!
Let’s get one thing straight: We are not a Christian nation. We are a nation where you are free to be a Christian.
Your religion guides you, not all of us. It’s as simple as that.
Thought I would have gotten used to it by now, but I’m still grappling with the realization of just how stupid the men running this country are.
NBC’s Richard Engel: “The White House meme campaign is outraging many former US military commanders… they say only someone who has never really seen combat would think it’s a joke and put out material like this.”
My favorite part of watching Jeopardy is when I know the answer and none of the contestants do. @jeopardyofficial.bsky.social #jeopardy
Between a new war of choice, federal agents killing protesters, & an administration eviscerating institutions, American democracy is being tested. Historian Jon Meacham reminds us that "the republic has always been fragile.” Americans have long known despair is not the answer, action is. #Velshi
Rep. McBride with a few Delaware coastal mayors.
Delaware is a state of neighbors—which means when we work together, we get things done. I'm grateful to have met with many of the mayors serving coastal Delaware communities to strategize more investment in infrastructure, environmental protection, & the economic vitality of our coastal communities.
