We’ve got an officious desert tortoise who supervises all yard work and outdoor activity. He has many opinions.

My Scion xA (which was only produced for 3 years) just turned 20. We lucked into finding one in a junk yard and stripped it to make a stash of parts, many of which are discontinued & crazy expensive. Which is to say, I feel you. I’m opting to pay for a paint job & repair fund instead of a new car.
I am well aware of the difference. I didn’t ask him to file articles of impeachment. There is plenty that connected politicians can do to move impeachment forward. That is what I asked him to do.
You don’t know who else I’m yelling at. Perhaps reflect on who you spend your energy yelling at.
More doing. Get to DC and get the wheels of impeachment moving.
This is how it’s done. @captmarkkelly.bsky.social @gallego.senate.gov
You’re absolutely right. Now what?
My husband and his best friend are going!!! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this. It’s a trip that could have been custom made for the two of them—biology, hiking, lakes, & D&D. They had been working on a big World Cup adventure, which hadn’t worked out. I suggested this instead. They jumped on it. 🙏
You can choose with or without profanity
Have you ever met Samuel Jackson ipsum? Or bacon ipsum? They are my go tos. Though horse cake will also rank.
I’m sorry to hear that. Thank you for caring for her
Earliest 100 degree day in Tucson by THREE WEEKS! And the previous record that we just broke was set last year. We shouldn’t be over 100 until MAY. We are not okay.
And Mr. T, the 50 year old desert tortoise engaged in one of his favorite activities. The other is romancing his red rocking chair girlfriend.
Three black dogs cluster into the camera view. One looks concerned, another excited, the third demented. This is an accurate representation of their personalities

Garden in orange raised bed planters surrounding a slab of reclaimed concrete with a blue clawfoot tub sitting on it. The tub is plumbed to send greywater to the landscape
And, shotgun aside, all of those new skills and knowledge have made my current life immeasurably better. More attuned to the cycles of where I live, able to cultivate a lush space in my desert home without abusing our water resources. My garden this winter
Then I reread it in late 2024 and learned to shoot and bought a shotgun. It’s a highly motivating book. Shape change.
I read Parable of the Sower in 2020. That was…mentally bracing. Since then I’ve studied native edible plants, rainwater harvesting, greywater use, desert organic gardening & my job is now to teach classes on all of the above. I’ve been building a more climate resilient home—& community.
Ha! I have said that many many times. Please, by all means, new version of Gallego, go hard. But until there’s actual follow through and consistency, yeah no.
This was in response to the idea of supporting him for presidency. Many of his AZ constituents aren’t even willing to support him for another Senate run. He’s shown lots of signs of being Sinema 2.0
God no. I’m a Gallego constituent. He’s an opportunist who cannot be counted on and will throw anyone under the bus at any moment if he thinks it suits his interest. He’s in the pocket of crypto and AI broligarchy. Yes, it’s good when he goes hard for good things. But never ever put faith in him.
No offense was taken :)
Middle of the desert checking in here. We are fighting them too.
Tank top in Tucson. This is not okay.
Arizona would like to second all of this
Series of Terra cotta colored raised bed planters full of plants surrounding a concrete patio with a blue claw foot tub on it. One of the planters is bare soil, freshly planted.
I just added another raised bed to my garden-in-progress. Every time I put in seeds, I think “I’ll remember what I planted here.” Then they come up, and lo and behold, I do not remember. #garden #tucson
*Handmaid’s
This is literally the plot of The Handmaiden’s Tale.
Yes!
Legit cultural difference! Only snow is on the mountain, and that only occasionally. Nearest regular snow is a 4-5 hour drive. It would definitely seem odd to see a ski mask. It’s 80 degrees here today. And point taken on your main point.
